Brincs: The Beginning (From Whiskey Sessions EP)
The Beginning is a dreamy and atmospheric opener for the Whiskey Sessions EP or one of my creative projects: Brincs. This song sets the mood for the journey through the EP's alternative and unique combination of Electronic, Blues, Beats & story telling.
Lead vocals were written in collaboration with Chivalry and feature Ryan Wyatt, Georgia Ladas & Harry Wuele on backing vocals.

    Can you swing us a simple chord progression to try with this technique ? I think these (somewhat) simple mayer techniques fit my skill level well. Let's see tomorrow.. 🌞

    • @hpmguitar
      @hpmguitar 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think with these chord techniques - they are best suited to barre chord or smaller moveable chord triads. So, if you have an understanding of those chord shapes you can start to transpose them around to other keys and chord progressions once you get them comfortable in the positions from the video. I see you've signed up for the trial on the fundamentals program which is a great program for learning/solidifying your skills on the guitar to start playing advanced concepts. I'm planning to do an icon series of courses where I break down iconic players styles and techniques. John mayer and Dave Gilmour where two I had in mind - what do you think?

    • @hpmguitar
      @hpmguitar 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi There, When you freeze effect: do you mean like a kill switch to turn the loop off ? Because if so, you could set up a switch or exp ped on the unit to cut the volume of the loop in between transitions. As for the best position - I'd say starting off with the looper as the last block in the signal chain, would be a good place to start. Thanks very much rick. I'm using the next single coil split on the neck pick up running into a pair of orange amps on the helix.
