    Leigh used to be a great town. Now it's full of smackheads, drunks and begging immigrants. It's a dump. Wigan Council have ruined the whole area. We have to fight to stop most buildings being bought and turned into HMO's because the owners don't give a shit who they move in. They just fill them with ex-criminals and illegal immigrants and it's a nightmare for us locals who have lived here all our lives.

    Overly expensive insurance with chickencoup style high-pressured call centres, incredibly poor antiquated systems, and high levels of mental health abscence sickness rates, akin to Direct Line.. no thanks.

    The BoE did not raise interest rates to 15% in the early 90’s, the conservative government did. BoE were put in charge of interest rates by Gordon Brown when Blair won and he was chancellor. You should issue a correction

    Old cottage EPC of F ,new double glazing,new kitchen,new bathroom,new log burner,portable electric heating and immersion heater got less points than last EPC,told to put in gas heating which is be no good in years to come,told to put in storage heaters

    Enjoyed your presentation regarding Stoke on Trent. During the war Stoke only got bombed a few times and this is one of the reasons why there are still so many terraced houses everywhere. Unlike other large cities Stoke has an abundance of countryside and quite a few commuter towns and villages nearby. Whilst there is new build executive housing within Stoke on Trent a lot of locals, once making a bit of money, move out to the commuter towns and villages where there are many new sites presently being built. What Stoke does have is the fifth largest hospital in the country. A decent terraced house near the hospital would cost around £130k. If you want a " Doer Upper " then you can still get bargains around £80k near the hospital. People are always crying out for rental accommodation near the hospital so there is money to be made.

    HI - amazing presentation and data. I agree with your outlook, however, I am also super interested in the tool you built showing prices changes in localised areas. I would love to know what you make to two specific postcodes: GU148PA and GU227HL as we expect a drop in prices, but wonder if one post code has experienced more change than the other and what we could infer from this in terms of the outlook

    This was my nanas house who we lost recently I don't appreciate the way your talking about the previous owner being not very well off because of the upstairs windows and that the family want it to go to someone that won't just do it up and sell it, this house my nana has lived in since 1940 and has always been a privately rented house which the LANDLORD! Would not do any modernisation what so ever. If your going to make these videos on homes and talk about previous tenants then have some respect to the family that may see this

    Leigh is a bad place with drugs all around town plus had a killing were they through him in the canal just had knifing before xmas a one punch kill over this weekend and shootings yesterday .there is no train station only atherton. Not a nice place to live anymore .drugs have took over and dealers.used to be a nice little town .not now.
