It's a good job the crocs haven't evolved opposable thumbs, otherwise they might have invented can openers and then you Aussies would be in real trouble.
Lovely ep and areas and lovely fix up job,, Love the Kimberly. In May this year, I towed our 5m tinny with our 1990 --1HZ n/a 80 series from Cooroy QLD upto Mcgowans fishing camp above Kalumburu, stayed nearly 4 weeks had great fishing, then went home via the Tanami and Plenty, found all the roads great.
Thanks for sharing. Nice that you are able to walk around the site like that. Glad you folks have respect for the memorial and not taking pieces home or vandalizing it! Thanks from the US.
I’m no expert but if it wasn’t for Uncle Sam then we might not live in the lucky country. Thanks to all the service men and women who gave their all to defend us in our time of need.
Hey Ewen I think it’s more about “ I’m here and happy to give it a crack and if I fuck it up people will help me out. It’s a real culture thing doing the OTT. I didn’t understand it until I did it but it’s so true and I think I’ve made some pretty cool friends that I’ll keep in touch with.
Nice bus cobber 👌 Tdi, or Td5? I camped at the same spot a few years back when we drove up from Tassie in our old Tdi 130. Agree 💯 about the filthy grubs and their rubbish 😡
Ah sorry for standing right in the way of the cruiser at gunshot 😅
We followed you guys through Nolan’s, certainly thought we were going to get stuck also
Some people are either very dumb or have a death wish
How deep would that water be there
Over the crossing it can be a metre or more. It’s a tidal thing. Not sure about the river upstream.

Only the silly ones.

The Kimberly has always been a must do for me and I’m overwhelmed by the beauty this country has to offer. Sadly the Tanami was as ruff as guts!!
@@InchysCampfireCastaways Yes I spent 3 months up around Kalumburu in 1988 , took me 36 years to get back, the road them days was bit wilder,

Amazing
Look at all those crocs
😂😂😂
What's the fuss?
What a risk crossing by car.
Better than by foot.
Not when you know it well, and do it regularly. Pretty much top of the tide.
It's a risk the crocs are willing to take.
Even though I can't understand a word of Bogan, this is damn interesting.

There is lots inside the Landy.

@@InchysCampfireCastaways They're into salt water fly fishing. Weipa is one of the best spots for that sport.
