Hi everyone, just checking in again. I'm glad to see so many people are enjoying/benefiting from this upload. I'd definitely recommend reading The Road to Mecca and his translation of the Quran if you found the interview interesting. I'm not from a Muslim background or even religious but I found them both to be extremely informative and the Road to Mecca is just a great read even if you have no interest in religion.

Yep, some authors write books so well. But when we hear them talk, their personality is just don't match. This man is the first person who is just as pleasant as i imagined the author of the book to be.

It's a pity such an influential and great man didn't see through the despotism and autocracy of the Saud family which continues to monopolise Arabia while appallingly oppressing the people there.

It's 2023 and I just finished reading "the road to Mecca". Now I'm very big fan and I've never thought I'll be able to see him speaking so I'm very grateful for seeing him in video thank you for uploading this. His book is an inspiration for me as a Muslim. I just love his desire toward Islam😢, his call for Muslims to wake up and to shine in this world too rather than adopting western culture. I love his way of thinking intellectually, his philosophical knowledge, his politeness, his adventures, his humour and everything. May Allah grant him with jannatil Firdhous and good grave life. And I pray for every other characters like Elsa, Zaid... a very beautiful hereafter. Every Muslim or non Muslim should read this book it's really life changing. I hope more and more people read this book. So we can make the islamic world a role model. I adore you Muhammad Asad! What a great man you were😢

Islamic Competence is the solution for all Problems. I love you brother. May allah take you as a friend and reveal himself to you in jannah ul firdoues. May it be you, who prophet mohammad SAW was referring, when he was calling his brothers are those who will believe in him without seeing him. I wish to stand with Prophet on day of judgement along with you by My side. Only Allah can reward you for the kind of work you have done brother. I wish to have such a interview and chat with you in jannah.

May Allah give him jannathul firdaus. Ameen. Many Jews have a conscience. His uncle in those days felt that it was wrong to oppress the Palestinians. This is why Muslims must not hate the Jews who are their cousins through Musa and Ibrahim a.s. but Zionism theiris a nationalist racist movement in Israel.

A marvelous and fascinating story. Islam has the potential to unite the world under a simple One God and there fore ONE PEOPLE feeling o f oneness like no other religion. Maybe that is a part of God's plan? Oneness in the world...One day oh Lord, let it be.
