[Research News at a Glance] Successfully developed a QLED that even if stretched like rubber
Is there a QLED that increases like rubber with the same picture quality even if you increase it by 1.5x?
It has succeeded in developing the world's best performance stretchable QLED (Quantum Dot Light-Emitting Diode) that does not change image quality even if stretched like rubber.
Shape-variable displays using stretchable devices are a key trend in the development of next-generation displays, and they are expected to be applied to places that are difficult to implement with flexible or foldable form factors such as curved displays inside automobiles, advancing the era of free shape displays.

How past climate change influenced interbreeding between Neanderthals and Denisovans
มุมมอง 30K6 หลายเดือนก่อน
A new study published in the journal Science by an international team finds that past changes in atmospheric CO2 and corresponding shifts in climate and vegetation played a key role in determining when and where early human species interbred. Alzheimer's disease progression caused by urea cycle in astrocytes in the brain
มุมมอง 90ปีที่แล้ว
The number of elderly suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease has been rapidly rising over the past decades. For a long time, scientists believed that misfolded aggregates of amyloid-beta protein accumulate and form plaques in the brain, leading to memory loss and neuronal death. However, the recent failures of the clinical trials indicate the pressing need to understand the missing link between amy...
Human ancestors preferred highly diverse habitats than other hominins
มุมมอง 4.7Kปีที่แล้ว
A new study published in the journal Science by an international team finds that early human species adapted to mosaic landscapes and diverse food resources, which would have increased our ancestor’s resilience to past shifts in climate. Our genus Homo evolved over the past 3 million years - a period of increasing warm/cold climate fluctuations. How early human species have adapted to the inten...
How rheumatoid arthritis and dementia are related
มุมมอง 212ปีที่แล้ว
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disease that causes extensive inflammation of the joints, causing severe pain and discomfort in patients. But did you know that the disease is also commonly accompanied by neuropsychiatric complications, such as cognitive impairment and depression? Previous studies show that up to 70% of RA patients can have such cognitive disorders. These neurological...

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a difficult-to-cure mental health condition that is caused by experiencing a traumatizing event, such as interpersonal violence or disaster. While sufferers of PTSD have existed across all of human history and the condition is even observed in animals, the diagnosis of this condition only appeared in the 1970s after the Vietnam War. PTSD patients are wid...

Naughty naughty climate change. Maybe Biden could write an executive order against it so we don't get anymore deleterious genes enter the gene pool. Maybe we can blame climate change for the one-track mindedness of climate scientists.

Interbreeding back in that time mostly wasn’t a love affair rather a „match“ or - even more often - raping. As we would call it nowadays. 😮 so the stronger ones took the weaker ones.

can we prepare for and adapt to the changes brought about by climate and weather

    • @dartmart9263
      @dartmart9263 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@AncientWildTV Of course we can adapt! We always have! We have been doing so for hundreds of thousands of years, as our climate has changed from one extreme to the other and back. The “adaptation” sometimes included moving north or south, or following wherever the herds and game went, etc. Survival of the fittest means adapt or die.

This is how the military has been manipulating and memory wiping people with their staged 'alien' abductions, presenting decades old tech as a new discovery is an old trick. When are they going to announce their 'new' ability to synthesize an experience in a person's mind that seems absolutely real using electromagnetism, which doesn't even require the subject to have an implant. Mind control is old and has been perfected far beyond what most people even think is possible. They can make you believe you died, left your body, and met god, or aliens, whichever they prefer.
