Calling all art lovers, collectors and seasoned or budding art investors! Aita Ighodaro Art is designed as a window into my world as I attend key fine art fairs and exhibitions in London and around the world. I’ll aim to demystify the art market and help make it more inclusive. The channel will also share the latest developments across the art market - sharing information on leading artists but also providing tips and guidance on seeking out, evaluating and acquiring art affordably.
I have been collecting contemporary art for well over a decade and have served on an acquisition committee at Tate. I have an undergraduate degree from Oxford University and a master's in Economics from SOAS, University of London.

For a more consistent display of excellence I would recommend Masters, however every year Frieze London has some really exciting ultra contemporary talent too 👌🏾

@@AitaIghodaroArt ....i laughed at you when you said that you have ....DECIDED to cover her exhibit....YOU LOOK LIKE HER COUSIN....how could you RESIST....LOL...you did an excellent job covering this thank you so very much....the thing that moved me most about the exhibit is that she brought a LOT of people WITH HER into the MUSEUM...and it says a lot about her as a PERSON that so many people love her and wanted to work with her and did...her ability to develop meaningful working and personal relationships with people is the main reason that she is in that museum....she is so WORTHY....and i am so HAPPY for her...and PROUD of her...THE QUEEN OF THE SUPERMODELS...

@@AitaIghodaroArt ...there are two particular people that are in this exhibit....one....wished that he was in a museum....the other was in a museum and the critics did not think that his work was worthy to be in a museum and they savaged him for it...those two people and MANDELA....are the ones that moved me ....the one that wished...JOSE XTRAVAGANZA the DANCER....her FAVORITE DANCER....she dances with him in a video...and the GREAT ICONOGRAPHER HERB RITTS...he was the one who took MANY photos of her...when he was given a show in a huge museum in BOSTON he was critically savaged...but it was the most attended show the museum ever had...he is also the man who created all of the images of HER WITH MANDELA...HERB was also scandaled a bit because he had the nerve to say that NAOMI ....was his FAVORITE MODEL which angered a LOT of people....but he was so ABOVE and BEYOND everyone that he couldn't care less...in my opinion i think of FOUR people that would be the PROUDEST of her are....in no particular order....AZZEDINE ALIAIA....GIANNI VERSACE....HERB RITTS....and the MASTER OF HAUTE COUTURE....YVES SAINT LAURENT...i think and feel that because of their POWER and INFLUENCE they were able to see and FEARLESSLY. display the BEST of HER...in the worlds of MARKETING...ADVERTISING..and HAUTE COUTURE....and THEY lead her to MANDELA..who had been watching her LIFE and CAREER....FROM HIS JAIL CELL..HE IS...her HONORARY GRANDFATHER...and THEIR RELATIONSHIP is the MOST COMPELLING...the most ICONIC...

Where are the paintings in this list?
Hi Janice, the ‘Unlimited’ section only had huge installations - it was specifically dedicated to these artworks but there was another hall with plenty of paintings and sculptures. I have covered these in my video entitled The Highlights of Art Basel, so do take a look at that one if you have time!Would love to know your thoughts!

this was fun to watch. i used to live in the village nearby and go sometimes to buy wine at the Lacoste cave. none of the hotels, artwork and the rest existed back then. they have come a long way. by the way, i would hardly call Aix-en-Provence a village, it's a good sized town. and i recommend hôtel de Caumont art center there. they have very good exhibitions in a spectacular old town house, hôtel privé in the heart of the Mazarin quarter, a must see! thank you for this nostalgic trip!
