Thailand | Khao Lak and Patong! PART 3!
Hi guys,
This is the final video from our Thailand trip! We visited Phang Nga Elephant sanctuary then headed to The Sarojin Hotel in Khao Lak. We then headed to Patong for one night before heading back to Australia with Matt's family! We had such a lovely time!

Albany was the last port many of the WW1 troops saw of Australia - many never to return. The Forts are well worth a visit, even without the Anzac Museum.

The water is really blue and the sand is so white , especially in Cape Le Grande NP and Cape Arid NP.

Can you imagine the first time I did this trip by car was in 1969 and from Penong to the WA Border was 320miles of gravel road. Been over the Nullabor 8 times now and the van you were travelling in reminded me so much of my 2008 Volkswagen Caddy Maxi 1.9 turbo diesel. Bought back a few memories. Our claim to fame on that trip was that we Travelled almost 4000 miles in just under 4 days. Cairns to Glen Innes non-stop then Glen Innes to Norseman non-stop, then a casual drive into Perth. What an adventure that was. ❤❤❤❤❤❤ WA.

just west of there, is munglinup.. theres a little van park i stayed at in 2017, off the track, 2 kms from the beach, look it up. there is also camping at the beach with showers etc.

I lived in Kalgoorlie for 5 yrs it certainly is a interesting town & helped build that tourist mine. You'll love Esperance. Safe travels 🙏 👍

Heres a tip. Don't camp underneath any gum trees. They can drop a limb "big branches" and they will do major damage or kill you if underneath.

Bullet ants don't exist in Australia, they are actually found in Central and South America. I'm thinking you meant the bull dog ant. Their stings are very potent, and the venom from these ants is among the most toxic in the insect world.
What an interesting video of the Nullabor Plain!!! There really aren't any trees!!!! 😂 Keep them all coming!! xx ❤
The Nullabor Plain (Nullabor is aborginal for treeless) is actually only about 30 miles of the over 1000 miles journey. The overall road trip has many, many trees and you can tell the prevailing wind is from the south as most of these trees are leaning north.

I’m from the Sth East of SA originally, and your places visited brought back so many memories. The Obelisk at Robe amazes me it still stands. Years ago it was on a very large cliff area. The Lobster at Kingston is known to locals as Larry.
