Still loving. And her sound too.
That Fastback is so rarely seen. I'm still waiting for a video of the factory Nortons that had the apehanger bars. Much obliged to you posting.
I came close to getting a HighRider at an auction a few years back, but it the bidding went up into silly numbers, so it slipped away.
Superb - love the colour 💙
My father friend has a similar one it's 88 i think
That's an awesome bike
Just happened to be sitting on a country road with cold pipes?
Rode it there, then let it cool down before shooting the video.
@@bryancolleran3230 Being from Canada we don't consider there is a cooling down when it's 20 degrees C outside. But okay.
Bike five years younger than me. But about that time I bought metal toy model of the bike with sidecar. still have it in storage somewhere.
You mean the Matchbox one.
What a gorgeous example. How proud you must be!
I cry that i ever sold my 71 fast ack.,.
Cos'è bello
Great machine!
Ancestor of cb series ,Mine is cb 400
Any chance of you contacting the new owner in the hope he may want to sell it , Im just retired and fancy re living my youth , ( if the new owner is interested perhaps you could forward his details
Sorry. He was really in love with this bike. He had a 71 and a 73 and had a space already set aside for it in between the other two. Each one has the Yamaha XS650 poster for that year on the wall above the space the bike is parked in. Maybe taking enthusiasm a bit over the top, if you ask me, but to each his own. At any rate, I don't think he'd be in a selling frame of mind.
Is this bike still for sale
Sorry. Sold a year ago.
That’s the same year I was born and it’s in much better condition than me. Beautiful example.
A classic.
It took him more tries to get the bike of its stand than it did to kick it into life! Lovely bike.
Great looking bike …
Wear some Levi’s jeans in particular with your leather biker jacket👎🏿👎🏿
I'm looking at that beautiful bike not what the rider is wearing.
All the indications of a very inexperienced rider. At least we’re geared up. Beautiful bike. You should spend some time tuning it and working all the bugs out.

Still one of the coolest bikes ever made.If motorcycle technology never evolved past these 750's, I'd still be happy. Stellar looks, sound and performance. Had a new '71 candy garnet brown 750. Think of it always.
Old but still sounds sexier than most modern ones.😊😊
Sounds good.!🍀🍀🍀
did you push it out in the countryside to start it?
That's the inner city.
Rode it there, then let it cool down before shooting the video.
Delightful. A late pal had an orange one. I think the later models had a stiffer frame but a bit less poke, with lower compression.
I owned a 1975 Norton 850 Commando, they finally got the Isolastic system perfected, as well as the braking, plus finally the long awaited electric start, then sadly they went out of business for many years.
no gloves .sod that
Have you listed your xs2 on BaT yet?
They haven't got back to me with revised copy yet -
Beautiful bike, I had a 72 and put Makuni direct slide carburetors on it, I’ve been kicking myself in the ass ever since I sold it ..!
It is nice, isn't it? It's going up for auction on Bring a Trailer soon.
@@bryancolleran3230 I wished I could ..!!
@@CapnSchep It's better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all...
@@bryancolleran3230 Thanx, I hadn’t thought about it like that ..
Awesome clip. Thanks
Beautiful machines
I want one
Beautiful Roadster FB Bryan did you do the frame conversion or does it still have the Widow Maker? I bought my 68 about 26 years ago and still haven't started her up yet.
