Thank you for this video, I found I could relate with the guilt about slow texting and relationships with family. I have been so self-centred but I really need God more in my life. This video encouraged me. And I hope that this will help my next steps with God. I know I need to put him first. I am hoping that I will follow the inspirations you have put in me and find the Lord. I like how true you were about the difficulty of doing a fast. This video shows me that in my struggles I am not alone. It shows me that the life I am living is meant to be different. And it shows me that I need to draw closer to God! Thank you 🫶 I have been interested in Christian content on TH-cam for a while but a lot of it seems harsh and difficult your videos bring a different atmosphere that feels less burdensome and this is part of what made me interested in your content. I sought the peace and change that you have☺

Everything Jesus taught was about putting the welfare and interests of others above your own. Competition and competitive sprots is the complete opposite of that mindset. It's about striving for a prize that only one person (or team) can have, to the exclusion of all others. No one has to miss out on the prize of salvation. Everyone can have it. Sports is about exalting self above others. Christ was about humbling yourself, denying self, taking up our crosses and following him. Impossible to do when we are enamored of a world view that places our own success above all else.
