@@cira7937 It is not comparable, warmane is one of the most played private servers of all time, stormforge has a decent population but it is far from being that big, whitemane maelstorm for example started with 5 thousand players for several months until cataclysm classic came out and under less than 1500 players, the same will happen with sheilun

@@mauricio2085 whitemane died way before cataclysm was even announced, it died cuz its pvp only server and if stormforge mop dies its not cuz of mop classic for sure

Install it to the desktop, instead of in any "games" folder. Open the WTF file called "realmlist". Put in that file *JUST* these two lines: set realmlist logon.everlook.org set patchlist logon.everlook.org Open WTF folder>Config, the only lines you need in there are: SET realmList "logon.everlook.org" SET realmName "Starfall" SET patchlist "logon.everlook.org" Everything else will populate when you log in.

What kind of trick would there be ?

@@Steevy84 Of all of the private servers, and there are many, Warmane is the most capitalistic, as well as being one of the oldest in continual operation. It used to be private servers were strictly for the fun of it, run by a handful of wow enthusiasts, now it is SOP for there to be some type of cash shop. However, you don't need to buy anything on any of them to play the complete experience. Some do incredible things with the funding. Turtlewow has rewritten vanilla wow. New races, zones, dungeons, quests, voice acting.

@@Steevy84 There will be no difference for someone that wants to play the game as it was intended to be played. If you want tbc, this server is acceptable. If you want vanilla wow with some WOW, try turtlewow. If you want MoP in what is pretty much Blizzlike, wait for stormforge mistblade 3 which is coming up. @ellipseanostalrius1710 now I'm not playing anywhere after I quit from MB2 I played in Tauri while waiting for thier Legion and for ProjectEpoch but I played for like two months and quit and I think I'm gonna give MB3 a try as horde this time

It is true vanilla. Ngor's shenanigans are a vital component of the private server experience. But thankfully, we aren't experiencing that on this server.

Yeah I think a lot of people are waiting for those along with Tauri's Legion.

Turtle WoW is great especially if you love Hardcore mode.

The Turtle leaks showed some of the Turtle devs wanted to add a subscription model LOL

Yeah man. There's raiding going on, it's just not going to be that hyper-competitive, 24 guilds aiming for server first. Pugging is going to be very popular.

I tried Twow early on. I really appreciated all of the hard work those guys put into it, it just wasn't for me. Totally dig what they are doing for the game though.

The pop is growing very slowly, but I think once Turtle 2.0 drops we’ll see a ton of people reroll on the pvp server

@@shawtynoikilpeople3905 I ended up on turtle wow PvP, regardless of the pop it's X2 exp and I really like the changes, everlook seems pretty buggy and I don't like the shop, may aswell play a vanilla + which turtle do it great

Have you been able to log in? If you created an account and can't log in, locate the realmlist file and paste in only these 2 lines, nothing else should be there. set realmlist logon.everlook.org set patchlist logon.everlook.org Then log in from the wow.exe file, not any launcher.

@@ellipseanostalrius1710 downloaded the earlier client and logged on. Rolled a dwarf hunter...not so keen on pvp though.

It does need to reach that range of 3-5k for peak vanilla fun. It does get higher than 1.4k, but not enuff. Possible it could grow, but I currently have no reason to think it will.

1.14 is the blizzard classic client. This server is written on the original 1.12 client, so there's the addition of an emulator you need to run 1.14 on top of 1.12. Sugarproxy. 1.14 has updated graphics and would utilize entirely different addons. 1.12 is the old school, original vanilla client. All of my addons are 1.12 because I've been using it for years and years. If you skim through the help section of this server's discord, you'll see many issues with the 1.14 client. I have no idea if that is indicative of everyone's experience, but i do want to look into that. There are no 10k average peaks. I don't know where they got that number from, perhaps the previous realm? There are also no chinese, they are on a different server.

I do the profession shuffle for gold. Druid gatherer>JC and Alch. You can't go wrong with the 2 crafting professions that drive everyone crazy: LW and Scribe. You can sell big time in AH with those if you don't mind being driven crazy with Inscription, or the hassle of leveling LW.
