+Matt Thompson Thanks for taking the time to listen and share your opinion. With respect to the whole situation; I'm aware that I'm an outsider on the situation. I'm aware that someone like Saeed is receiving communication from many people and will not be able to respond to all of them. I have been a vocal advocate for him through the years and would do it again and again. As a pastor, and as a pastor from the same region as Saeed, I have asked him to answer some questions. I again respect that he owes me nothing but know this I have attempted. I have attempted to be graceful and understanding of the complexity of his situation. Until recently, I've had access to Saeed's Facebook page. I again respect that someone has the right and privilege to block people if they want. You can read some comments from the past to confirm this, I've attempted to be graceful to him in the public comments as well. It is clear he has read my messages and comments or I would not have been blocked. Is there not a better way for someone in the public eye to handle an honest question for clarity than to ignore and block the commenting people you disagree with? I don't like that news outlets are using facebook comments as the meat of their articles, but this is the kind of day we live in. Putting those of us in the public eye a responsibility to be careful with what we say, how we say it, who we say it about, and how it may get repeated. A facebook post by me is open game. It's a primary source. If I don't want my facebook posts to be used in the public then I should not be saying it on facebook. It's a reality of the day we live in. I understand this and it's a risk we take. I'm longing for revival of the church in our land. I believe and reprieve that you do to. I am sure that Saeed want this too. I am hopeful. I'm expectant. It is a foolish day for any pastor or minister of the gospel to expect God to bring about revival while we are in un-reconciled relationships. My inquiry to Saeed has been of great concern and desire to help both him and me. As a pastor I have duty to speak to the Lord's people in my care about the spiritual landscape of our day. If a man is promoting himself as a spokesman for God and will not give even a courtesy reply and continue to publicly imply his wife is a liar without answering the allegations of himself this is a serious problem and I will warn my people of this man and hold him accountable for the place of influence he hopes to have on the Lord's people I'm charged with. You say "Saeed's credentials and training were obtained in Iran. If that's not good enough for you, then that's for you to decide. But to judge against him in the absence of fact that you, yourself admits exists, is unjust." I've asked Saeed for clarification of this, he has not answered me. If anyone has question concerning my training and ordination I am happy to help them understand this. I'm a public minister of the gospel, I'm pleased to give answer to anyone who inquires. My asking was not to imply anything about him. If anything it is in hope to help him. And even to help me. You say "Accountability? How would you know whether or not he has submitted to accountability. He is not subject to you biblically nor morally." I have said it many times and I'll say it again that Saeed owes me nothing. I'm not offended that he has not replied or answered any questions. That's his right and privilege. Again, for me, a pastor, an ambassador of the gospel of the LORD Jesus Christ, I am accountable for all of my actions. My asking was not to offend Saeed I ask because he had not given clarity. I'm not asking because I demand he be accountable to me, I ask to know who holds him accountable. A public minister of the gospel does not take offence when people ask these kinds of questions. He patiently takes the time to help those inquiring. You say "Saeed's fruit far exceeds mine or yours, Sir." This may be true. What if it's not true? Every stitch of information I have is from listening to Naghmeh for better than three years as she anguished over her husband's situation and also how it affected her and her children, and Saeed's interviews in video. I heard her testify that she had heard through Saeed's parents that people (inmates) were being saved, coming to Christ in salvation and how people were saved and churches started through Saeed's answer to God's instruction before he was arrested the last time. I've heard Saeed testify to the same thing in his videos. There is quite a bit of info revealed in his interviews, all of them holding some information the others did not have. The university where he obtained his education of the scriptures was also mentioned, though I remember not the name right now. There are a great many people trying to force their demands on Saeed. I'm not including you in the light of of a "demand", I think you suggest more of a "confirmation". I do not suppose there is anything particularly wrong with that. It's just, it has to be hard to maintain any sort of private life in Saeed's situation. I'm just trying to wear his shoes. Any and everything about him when it comes to personal detail, I, as well as you and everyone else, we can only guess. But MY guess is, strictly from impression, is that the man has left few bases uncovered. I think for the most part he does what he should do to be a viable tool and child of God. I think Saeed bends to the will of God. But again, I have to guess because I do not know. But in this country, I am very fond of the notion that a man is innocent until proven guilty. That is something society would have us forget today. I will not forget. You must have proof before you can approve. There isn't one thing wrong with that. But as far as "I" am concerned, I personally withhold any judgement "against" him until it is proven. As far as the authority Saeed wishes to obtain through his ministry: I haven't picked up the slightest hint that he wishes any authority. He has a message. That's all I've heard. he calls for real revival in America and the way he explains it isn't anything you'll hear from the politically correct pulpits today. He's not even interested in the politics. He's just trying to explain what real revival is... It is a message that has impacted me and many others, but not in any way that requires us to "follow" Saeed. It's a call to go deeper within one's self, seeking God and bringing to surface what GOD wants from us... not the comfort we all hold onto for dear life. It's a call to answer God in some tougher things, the things where we have to sacrifice many things we hold dear in our own lives. That's all I've heard him communicate. To be honest with you, I don't follow Saeed. I admire him because of what he's been through and what he has victored over in his life through the power of the Holy Spirit. I admire John Wayne and he is as dead as a door nail. I don't follow him (hopefully not anytime soon). I feel this same way toward Saeed. His call isn't one such as yours where you intimately care for the needs of a specific flock (and God bless you for doing so. It takes a unique anointing and gifting and is as important as any other ministry on earth). But when I call Saeed Pastor, it isn't because he and I are close in the knowledge of one another. It is because he is communicating to me something God wants ME to respond to... and Saeed did what he was told dto do in order that he may be someone I'd listen to, among a great many other things God is doing with Saeed. With that, I hold much respect (as much as I am capable) and admiration for your ministry, Sir. Your efforts are just as important as anyone else's. i'm of the mind we are all spokes in the same wheel. Please don't harbor anything in your heart that would hinder your ministry. Quite the contrary. May God use even me to help you in any way possible. Thank you for your time and heartfelt response. I love you too... and I mean that.
