I've seen a Chip Blockroach maverick on Deviantart, it's a counterpart of Block Man (MM11), but as an alternate theme, this can fit also.

Stage name: Hydraulic Preston ROBOT MASTER INFORMATION Name: Hydro Man Weapon: Hydraulic pusher Location: Hydraulic central MAVERICK INFORMATION Name: Hydrical Manatee Weapon: Same as Hydro Man Location: Same as Hydro Man A boss who invades a hydraulic central, next to a river, waterfalls and various plants. Its weapon consists in using a water shot to create a chain that pushes enemies, something like a flipped version of the Water Wave weapon from MM5, but also inspirated in Gemini Laser (MM3) and Firefly Reflector (MMX5). When charged, it generates a water tornado (it's like a whirlpool but with a hurricane shape) from the floor that pushes the enemies and can be used to reach high areas.

Stupid little fact about this song It was HEAVILY inspired by pharrell williams "double life"

Maverick Counterpart: Cutspin Mantoshrimp - Type: Metal/cutting - Weapon: Destructive Ironclaws, consisting in generating a swirl claw that shots frontally and another one that smashes close enemies and is manipulated with the arm that doesn't have the swirl/cannon; when charged, generates a falling hammer-shaped claw and the swirl turns bigger, capable to destroy bigger enemies (probably, minibosses) - Location: Dark hidden garden, with water ponds, metal mines and metallic stones The thing is that there is an insect Dark Mantis Maverick in an official Mega Man game (MMX8), but not a mantis shrimp (a strange crustacean that lives in reefs), despite Crush Crawfish is called as a normal shrimp in Japanese MMX3.
