This system is an abject failure. Customer service is insufficient. Submitted my application 10 months ago, and I turn 60 tomorrow. The delays are solely on ARPC. There are many others on Reddit experiencing this BS.

MyFSS is a joke. One jumps through hoops of fire only to get to a page that ways "the system is down OR I don't have privileges ". Ridiculous. Why have these YT tutorial videos with a system that's obviously broken. There isn't one of these type of videos where the author answers a simple question from the viewer. Same old song & dance, hurry up and wait, and come back later when you have access. Grr

If a "new system" needs a 1 hour 20 minute explanation & demo for end users, said system is broken from the start...

Your so fucking bad at your job it's in believable, your FSS retirement site and procedures suck out loud. You give no feed back and sit with thumbs up your asses wanting us to do your job. You totally wrecked a good system . If I already submitted application for pay and reach 60 in a few weeks why the hell have you not set up with my pay or processed in a timely manner. Its a disgrace !😢

They only forgot the most important step. Once a person retires, they no longer are able to do a CAC Login, therefore you can't access MyPers!

MyPers is gone, and good luck dealing with MyFSS....all they do is sent you rejection tickets telling you to do EXACTLY what you did to get the resolution response saying they ain't doing shit and just do the same thing you did, while also telling you they will reject your ticket again. No wonder the military can't meet it's recruitment goals. Hey, Agent Orange exposure is now accessible as presumptive for disability for VA disability....too late for my dad. This is an awful substitute for professionally designed training. Use of acronyms without reference, tribal military slang, etc.--terrible.

Application process for Gray Area Reserve retirements has migrated from vPC to MyFSS since this video came out. It sounds like same process, just different portal. I'm working through it now.

My husband received email stating his retirement application was approved and instructions for viewing his retirement orders on MyFSS, but it doesn't work. The link to his orders brings up a page stating that page cannot be displayed, and the download button brings us to another site that says "insufficient privileges". We cannot access his orders. We called the contact phone number in the email and they weren't able to help us. Any suggestions?

Before I dive into this video, is it just how to apply FOR retirement (I'm already retired) or does it include how to apply for retired pay (I'm turning 60 this year)?

My wife just retired from the active army reserve after 40 years of service, of those 50 years she did 3 years active duty Army and 37 years in the active Army reserves , doing all her monthly drills and annual traii g, even deploying 7 - 8 times for a year or more to Iraq, she was discharded in March of 2022 after she had reach her 60 th Birthday, and she submitted her retirement packet then, its now April 2023 and she has not received not one monthly retirement check, she had do redo a packet in may last year because they said she was missing a document, why is it taking over a year and she still has not gotten paid, she stated they will have to back pay her from last year April 1, but still does it take this long every time she calls them they state their proccesing it. ???

Hi I retired August 2020 and I am turning 62yo in May Is this form what I need and do I use the date I retired from the reserves or the date that I turned 60?

She talks about Section "7B" ??? There are no letter subdivision in block #7 so what exactly is she talking about? Any ideas?

I am eligible for a reserve retirement at age 60, which is less than 76 days from today. I submitted my retirement application online in early June 2022. It has sat there with no action taken for almost 7 months. Is the ARPC Retirement section on schedule or will there be a delay in processing applications due in Mar 2023? There is no reason to have these training videos if no one responds to comments/questions that were asked over 6 months ago!!

This system is the Air Force’s version of Fyre Festival. So glad I got to hand type in all of those EPRs (because if you copy and paste, it messes up the spacing terribly) just to add them back in 910s and 911s because it broke itself.

State active duty; does it count towards retirement?

I am trying to figure out how I can first, see if I qualify for early retirement pay for reservist. When I retired, I was unaware about gray area reservists retirement. My situation is somewhat unique so this is why I didn’t know anything about this. I was deployed to Honduras as an IMA for a duration of a little bit over 5 months. I am an Army reserve retired enlisted soldier, trying to get my retirement form filled out correctly. I had filled it out in Dec 2021 and the DD2656 form was dated Oct 2018, so I have to fill out the updated form, but I cannot remember when I was promoted to E-6 and I do not know how to get to my information. I cannot get into my AKO account. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

TRICARE reserve retired is disgusting considering they're charging over $1,300 a month for a service member and their family after they retire after giving years of their life to their country multiple deployments in multiple injuries this is disgusting they promised us free health care when we retired it was a lie yes once you reach 60 it's a decent program but before 60 you're screwed

Be sure to contact myPers for the computer authentication/certifications to download on computer your computer if you do not have a CAC card. I could not get in to vPC to apply for retirement until I did this.
