I'm always doing this after riding in the dirt. Them fucking little tire poppers are a pain bro!! No flats yet but Damm
Just over a 100 miles on my Scorpion X. So far very impressed with Juiced. Here’s hoping I can get as much love outta mine as you have yours.
Planetary gears ⚙️ need replacement
He is crazy using bouth battery at the same time this bike its for use one battery at the time not two
Tires a gonner
I’ve only 600 miles on mine and I’m waiting on the 3rd replacement Bafang rear hub motor. The bearings keep wearing out. On my first motor the bearings wore out and the shaft snapped at 165 miles. The power cable to the hub motor used to enter through the center of the shaft therefore the shaft was hollow on one side, but the bearings should not be wearing out regardless. My only other real complaint with the bike itself is that the brakes are way too small and they too wear out quickly. Other than that, I love this bike! On the other hand, I’m not so happy with their service department. I purchased two bikes at the same time. I got the hyper scrambler 2 for me and the hyper scorpion for my girl. We love the bikes but our experience of the service department has been something less than competent. Not to mention they charge extravagant prices for replacement parts. They want $700 for a new 1000 watt bafang motor that I’m able to purchase myself through a different supplier for 250. They also wants $750 each for replacement batteries. The whole bike cost 2500 with two batteries. How can you justify 750 for one replacement battery??? I understand everybody is in business to make profit but this is ridiculous. I find it so offputting I will not purchase another one of their bikes!!!!!!!
Now it only comes with two 15.6 batteries.
Where can I purchase this motor?
Bikes onsale now for $1999 is that a good deal?
Is this better than the lectric xpedition?
There’s a closed out sale now $1999 is it worth it I wanna do DoorDash and Uber eats? Because there’s a newer model coming out summer time
Which bag is that? Also what side is the milk crate
Hey Man! Which bag do you have?
That's more miles than many garage queens of motorcycles; I am only at 1892 miles, good to know the potential!
Hey so you gotta use Flat Out. It’s a tire sealant. It helps TREMENDOUSLY for preventing flats. Easiest 18 bucks you’ll spend on your bike
It makes a mess when you run over a nail. Then, you can't even patch the puncture on the spot.
Did I just see 20000 miles on here 😮 ? How do I reach 20000 miles ? Would it have to be on the Speedometer or the Odometer, and on what level of assist, and gear shifter?
I use the Cycle Satiator, which kept my batteries healthy. The motors are garbage, though.
Hi, How many tires?... how was the maintenance?
Just change out the brakes, and run it on ECO mode to prevent the motor from breaking.
@@alamorides4485motor is garbage maybe motor need greasing on certain mileage
You should get a custom gearless motor and you would not have to replace them at all.
Send a link
Would you recommend this or the Ariel rider X Class, appreciate your video
My favorite bike is the x-class because it's zippy
Waddup Jose!
Ayyyy
Rip
Rip kobe
Why is your channel called Alamo Rides? Are you by chance in Alamo TX?
Yes
you mentioned something about (3.40) the batteries lasting because you have the cycle satiator (I think). Can you explain?
It's a high-quality, customizable charger. I fast charge when need to, and trickle charge overnight to reduce heat.
You get 50 to 60 mile range with just full throttle, right? No pedal assist at all? If you used pedal assist, do you believe you would you would have more mile range on it then? Thanks.
Yes, and yes.
@@alamorides4485 Sounds great! Thank you!
God Bless the Biker's showing up.
I like that they stand by their products
Store your batteries at 50% if your going to leave them sit
Yea 11:20 that’s cus u don’t live in these major cities.. bro they’ll strip ur bike down to the 🦴
I mean, in Texas, you can get shot.
Nice rack idea 👍🏾
Thanks buddy
Needs two motors. All wheel drive.
Hey good info, thanks for sharing. I'm trying to estimate if I'd get more or less range than you. I'm about 190 lbs. About how much do you weigh? Thanks!
The same
Hey Alamo i just got my Hyper Scorpion perfect time for summer deliveries i have a question these 52 v batteries are ass even with pedal assist level 3 i only get like maybe 2hrs 30 minute ride i tend to switch back and forth between throttle pedal assist level 2 and 3. But my question is do you think a 72 volt battery might get me that so sweet 70 mile range im looking at one battery brand that TH-camr Uncle Fjester uses
How much do you weigh? Do you use dual batteries?
does the motor have nylon or metal gears?
Nylon
Is the seat comfortable with long shifts, like an 8 hour shift(i work in Budapest) you think my ass wouldn't go numb with that seat ? 😂
Your butt will develop a literal callous lol. So, no.
Great video man thanks for posting. How is it after it rains and the roads are wet, not handling-wise but the electronics and the motor?
I've been caught in downpours plenty of times. No problem
Thanks for such a long term review. Did you never get anywhere near 100 miles?
Nope
Is that 55 miles one battery or both batteries?
Both
those geared hub can't really take 2000W peak long term. But they're so much more efficient than direct drives. Changing gears in a geared hub isnt so difficult to do yourself. But this is definitely a reliability concern.
Great review, I've been riding ebikes in Brooklyn ny for the last 14 years, I'm always interested in the durability of these ebikes motors,I had to junk plenty of my bikes because of the plastic gear motor s failing because years ago there weren't any places to repair ebikes and electric scooters..thank god there's repair shops all over Brooklyn now because everyone is buying pevs now and saving mad money 💰 like I am..thanks for the review my dude..
Any repair shops in or near Brooklyn that you've had a good experience with that you can recommend?
@getblest "Hi,yes, there all over Brooklyn now, there's two I go to, and they do good work, their a block apart,1th one is FLY wing ebike..666 Nostrand ave, between bergen st and st mark's ave....the other one is down the block, E& ME-bike...1018 bergen st..both do good work for good prices, they have plenty parts and can make scooters and ebikes go faster also...good luck..
@@wb7370 Thanks!👍

What I would absolutely do, my friend is to remount the rear taillight/brake/turn-signal assembly all the way to the rear for your road safety, especially since you spend the amount of time you do on it in your job. That rear bag blocks everything. If it's not something you either have the time or capacity to do yourself, find an equipped someone to do it and pay them. I can't imagine being on the road without visible lights behind me as cars come up from behind. Thanks for the review.
Dude you are an absolute hero. BOSS.
Outstanding 🎉
Where can I purchase this motor?
Preordered the new Founder's Edition HyperScrambler 2, any way to move the brake light and blinkers further back on the rack; don't want em hidden under the bag I'm putting on it.
I believe there's some slack on the brake light assembly, that allows that.
I’ll never get another hub motor, I’ve had and seen way too many problems. Great video 👍🏻
The only problem I have with this video is the vertical video syndrome.
I was waiting for this comment lol
Great review! Thanks for taking the time to do it!
Weird I do burn outs on mine in the dirt and rain only and I’ve had no problems baby tesla
How much do those tires cost?
$80 super73.com/products/lzrd-tire-override-single-4-5
Got 7000 miles on my Hyper Scorpion no problems with the motor except it’s load as hell . Sounds like it’s going to blow up kinda sorta grinding /clanging in race mode. But 7000 miles and no problem starts up every time and cruises at 30 easy (I pull of the throttle to let it chill and give it some more juice noise go’s and it settles in just fine. Maybe I get 10,000 miles sure seems that way. I bought a Scorpion X for back up in case the Hyper blows up and I need a bike when I send out for a new motor. Strangely after 400 miles the Scorpion X motor stoped working. It was under warranty so Juiced fixed it. Love both bikes know all ebikes have their issues. The guys at Juiced take care of me when I need them so it’s all good. I do food delivery to. All best man!
