I ask for permission to give my opinion. Kata is the language of ancestral experience as inspiration for a path. More than a specific meaning, perhaps future studies will allow us to design appropriate ways of exploring the logic of the ancestors. Perhaps, the kata has a distant relationship with the sequenced forms of the Chinese arts of the Tang Dianstia. Chinese ancestral culture valued a logy of variation, while the Japanese culture valued a logic of model. Therefore, it may be appropriate to think of this language as a semi-open system. The dialogue between these two perspectives opens up promising paths for the evolution of Budô. Thank you so much.
