You should never use a drop ear(Wing ELL) for tub spout, it restricts flow and causes back pressure eventually causing the shower head to have a constant drip, always hard pipe with copper or brass ;)

Don’t do this, L copper or brass nipple depending on the spouts inlet. Cpvc will snap eventually when someone applies to much pressure. If this is just for a rough then by all means use whatever keeps the tile guy from blocking but always replace with L or brass

I always plumb tub spouts all the same: 1/2 copper soldered directly into the valve, then 90 degree out the wall about 10” with a cap. You can then cut it to whatever size you need, and solder on your brass tub spout fitting with the o rings removed. Perfect fit every time, and it’s virtually indestructible. Women like to rest their feet up on those things, and Rasputia would snap that right off.

I bought a similar adapter when the pandemic hit and we all had to work from home. I was trying to adapt a fire stick to a regular ole flat computer monitor. Never could get it to work, but seeing yours made me think…the one I purchased didn’t have its own power source. May have been the issue. But on this idea…..Thanks Coach! 👊🏼 We don’t have kids but just picked up a used Denali on a deal and it has these monitors. Trying to figure out how to keep the in-laws occupied on road trips lmao. Now they can watch all the sports they want. And maybe, just maybe I can figure out how to set up 2 different fire sticks and Mom can watch the Young and the Restless & Dad can watch Gunsmoke 😂. I spray it and then shake it , a few times as in blasting it with cleaner . Then bring inside to dry at room temperature for two hours to make sure it is dry before , reinstalling .
