Grinding: Next time I’d flip the angle of my cuts. On the front, I’d cut the weld perpendicular to the surface (Was hard to tell what was weld, being worn smooth and oxidized). I did cut this weld off, before welding on the new edge. On the back, I’d cut the weld flush with the surface (Didn’t have flush disks at the time). I traded in the V30 SD card for a V60. V60 is adequate for 4k 120fps video w/ sound. V60 is not adequate for the super bestest codec XAVC S-I or S&Q motion mode. Slowing down 120 fps video in post works for me and unlocks more editing options by having sound. S&Q motion mode does output a higher quality, but w/ youtube compression, is not noticeable. Just finished testing this in ~70 degrees F. I’m sure 100 degrees in direct sunlight would be worse. At 4k 24fps, the camera did not overheat. It recorded continuously, until the battery was empty: 2 hrs 7 mins. At 4k 60fps, it recorded continuously for 35 mins until it overheated. The FX-30 has a built in fan if you need better performance/reliability here.

There has got to be a better way
Yeah, this wasn't too effective. A vibratory roller & aeration would do the trick. Or harley rake and re-seed the lawn but then you cant use that space for the season. We're fine with the result as a little side field tho, but it does throw you about when mowing. The ruts there mostly fade with time. Got my car stuck in it a few yrs ago lol

Inherited this saw from someone who also had a newer saw. Hopefully it didn’t see much use and the fuel line just dried up, sitting on a shelf for years. Only time will tell!
@@noa_joa Just check the spark plug after you use the saw for a bit. If the bent part over the electrode is grey it's running lean. It should have a brownish tint, similar to coffee when it's burning optimally. You'd rather have it look a little bit darker (running richer) than having it overheat and scoring the piston.

Yeah, water is circulated from it to the house and they can be piped into your furnace, water heater, radiant heating etc.

I have exactly the same Troy-Bilt rototiller with the Kholer 7 hp engine that I purchased in February 1983. Even have the same dents in the housing back plate. Served me well for 41 years and retired it last year. Or maybe, it was me that retired. I installed 4 sets of tiller knives. I planted some really big gardens - maybe 2/3 rds of an acre.
Man, really put some miles on that at 2/3 rds of an acre! This one only sees a 10x20 ft garden, but manages to start right up every year.

I used a horizontal splitter. I do know people who do sit and split wood. Not me!!
Like to mix it up and give the back/legs a break when either is feeling it
I fell trees I cut it into rounds then I split and stacked for 34 years! The only heat we had was from wood and I never seen anyone greese their splitter like that? I think maybe if your going to store it for a long long time? What a mess!!!
The wedge has grease fittings but we put it directly on the beam for complete coverage. Its ~15 yrs old and still in great condition. Admittedly, I did go overboard here. After 20 mins of splitting, it all ends up on the wood (don't notice with gloves on) but its all tossed in an outdoor boiler so not too concerned.

So removing the rear tire allowed you guys to easily access the nut on the bolt? I can’t get the bolt removed at all from no angle can I see the nut! I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500HD been over a month PB Blaster been on it, a strong impact wrench nothing! Just remove the back tire to see that nut?!

@@briizcustoms9543 On a 2500/3500 frame you have to loosen the front strap and pull the gas tank down and towards the driveshaft. Then you can access clip nut for the rear tank strap. I had to use a 9/16th wrench instead of a 15MM because it was severely rusted.

Excellent camera skills! This just makes me cry. My father was in the Air Force and as a little girl, even just a toddler, my only dream then was to fly with the Thunderbirds. But at 10 years old I was told I had to get glasses, and when I came home from the Drs appointment, I'll never forget the look on my father's face when he came into my bedroom and sat down on the bed and patted the place beside him and said, "have a seat." His face was an expression of agony. Here was a tough, weight lifting, muscular Air Force man, wilting in distress right in front of me bc HE KNEW he was about to break his daughter's heart. But I saved him from that battle. His face told me all I needed to know, and I said to him before he said anything to me, "It's ok daddy. I'll find a new dream." So I became a scholarship pianist, and a molecular biologist. Life just works out.
