QUICK UPDATE: Minion lvl40, is in fact the limit in game, tested it thanks to @BuckstarrZ comment, so you can either get expensive helmet with corruption, and play rare amulet with good stats and 3 minions with 1 corruption, or stick to rare helmet without corruption, and use Solar Amulet with 4 levels and 1 corruption. what skill should i allocate for my amulet if i cant afford the solar amulet ?
I would still allocate Deadly Swarm
am running my build around arsonists and i have the same issue simulacrum and around round 9 10 monster life or elemental resistance = RIP

Not forcing anyone to play more than 200% rarity, in fact i dont even think rarity affects divine orbs drop, however more rarity gives you more rare items, and iv sold 120divines worth of rare items today, so im not gonna complain about rarity :)
Sir, enlighten me, this is for boss clearing only right? I am asking because of the solar amulet, I have tested that before and it's not applicable to mobs since you'll die because every time you ignite a monster, you'll receive damage. Will the fire resistance even negate that? BTW, just new to POE2, not even a POE1 player before.
Nope, this is not only for bosses, this is for most of the content rly, solar amulet dont rly dmg you most of the time, because you are not the one who is igniting, your hound is igniting mobs, and because hes doing that, and its not you, you dont take dmg from the amulet, the only times you ignite monsters is when your hound is away from the mobs, and the only spell that is counted as you used and is igniting is flame wall, and its a very rare case, that you ignite mobs with it, simply because your hound does much more ignite dmg, so he overwrites your flame wall ignite. On top of that, i have 90% fire resistance, which also negates the effect if you ignite something in this rare cases. So in this case, in build im playing, solar amulet in fact, dont deal dmg to you almost at all :)

@@TopFiveTally Yes, pretty much, support gems and level of hound makes him the one who will ignite everything instead of you :)

I wish the minions walked with you its like a full second or 2 for them to walk up and start doing anything. Hopefully soon they make the minion ai better. Or at least make so they dont get stuck on eachother
Yea, AI is pretty bad right now, but you know, its early access, so we prob have to wait.
Why is simulacrum SO HARD??? Im running frost mages and its a nightmare. I can kill a maxed arbiter in like 10 seconds but i had to get my friend to carry me in simulacrum
I know right? I managed to do rank3 simulacrum with this build, but still no max rank so theres still upgrades that has to be done.
I just found out last night but herald of ice and polcirkeln ring dont work on simulacrum monsters
@@Cam-sv9ki yeah they have wild ailment and cold resist. Not to mention the 100 guys doing physical slam damage popping out of the damn bushes

Hi, what bonuses did you take from the acts?
I dont rly remember anymore, it was almost 2 months ago, but i think 15% mana recovery from flasks, +10% chaos resist, increased mana regen by 25% and 15% increased life recovery from flasks
What mana flask are you using it charged so fast
Ultimate Mana flask, 83% increased mana recovered, Removes 15% mana recovered from life when used, 20% quality.
tried it yesterday, dont have your gear so way less damage and 11 archers only but its cooking when you activate Gas arrows. Its burst damage from beyond. not sure how to mix this with my arsonist build atm. i use 9 Arsonists, 2 clerics and 1 arc skeleton. Food for thought and experimentation
Arsonists will work similary, as they are also a fire skill, so if u like arsonists more over snipers, thats totally fine :) glad u like it

Cost, 4 million divs
Mine, costs around 800divs, lost the count, but yea, mine is expensive, but u can start it with low budget and upgrade overtime, its not like u need 700divines to even start it. I literally leveled this build as my first and only character and now im here :)

@@Justin-qp1co Oh i didnt dropped that many divines, i think i dropped like 60-80 divines since release, most of my currency comes from rare items i looted and sold, for example i sold 120divines worth of rare items today :) I dont have alot of raw divine orbs drops, its mostly like 3-5 per day.

Why not just annoint Two-Pronged Attack, then path to more nearby minion damage nodes instead? You have plenty around you and going way down doesn't make much sense unless you're also opening up Jewel Sockets, which you weren't.
If i path to deadly swarm area, and i annoint Two-Pronged Attack i can get extra 30% minion dmg from nodes, and 25% minion dmg node from annoint, and thats the only nodes in Witch area thats left which gives increased minion dmg, so i would not call three 10% minion damage nodes as "plenty around me", but yea, i could get rid of some energy shield nodes, path down to deadly swarm, get extra 30% minion dmg, and then annoing Two-Pronged Attack. So yea, if 30% increased minion dmg for 7 skillpoints tradeoff from energy shield is what u need, then sure, go for it. While annointing Deadly swarm, i path down and i get 110% minion dmg instead of 30%, and on top of that, i got extra 5 jewels slot, where each jewel gives me 200k+ dps, not sure if you watched the same video i uploaded, but you clearly get 5 jewel slots on the way down buddy, but yea, thats for another video, this one doesnt even go there.
@@AshinWoW Right, I forgot not everyone's using the "Lust for Sacrifice" node with two [different] offerings for 40% more minion damage as well as using a Time-Lost Sapphire with an Upgrade Radius to Medium/Large with Small Node Minion Damage (2%) + Notable Minion ASPD/CSPD (2%) on the same socket you placed your Time-Lost Diamond to take even more advantage of the cluster of nodes you're already spec'd into. My apologies for phrasing it that way. I feel like the way you solved Chaos Resistance was a bit sub-optimal and that the Infernalist's main class strength (HP for more Spirit/Mana/ES) wasn't fully utilized. You even spec'd into the "Heavy Buffer" node which grants ES but reduces your life by 10% when you could dodge that node and path a bit differently (like going towards "Patient Barrier" and taking off two of the nodes that connect needlessly to "Heavy Barrier", etc...). All that Fire Resistance just to mitigate the self-damage inflicted by the amulet but there's not enough "redirect damage to Fire" to make full use of it seems like a waste of investment.
But I do understand that you were chasing the rarity meme, so I get that's why Chaos Resistance was put by the wayside and solved with a T-LD.
@@kashashk Yea, so for the first part, its not 40% more, its 40% increased, and thats a big difference unfortunately, as for the Time-Lost Sapphire, sure, it gives you 2% increased minion dmg per small, and 2% attk/cast speed, which is prob alot in that spot, however, im running rare jewels, with 15% minion dmg, 20% miinion crit chance, 25% minion crit dmg and 15% energy shield increased, im pretty sure, 20% minion crit, and 25% minion crit dmg, does more than few % of increased minion dmg, but ofc, might be wrong, and on top of that, i like my 50% chaos resistance and Max fire resistance from my jewel, it brings me to 90% fire resistance cap. But yea, thanks for ideas, it might help alot. For Patient Barrier, i dont like it to cost so many talent points, for only 60% increased energy shield, my "Calibration" circle, does kinda the same, with less talent points wasted on attribute nodes. For more HP for spirit/mana/es, i dont rly care about spirit, as my main dmg source is raging spirits, other minions are kinda utility. As for reducing my health by 10%, if you calculate that, with my life pool, it doesnt do alot anyways, so idc about extra 2-3 spirit i could have from that at all. As for amulet, i dont mitigate any dmg buddy, my amulet doesnt deal dmg to me, as i am not the one who inflict ignite, its my minion, so i dont take any dmg from that rly :) My fire resistance is simply for ascdendancy purpose :) Also, for offering thing, not even its only 40% increased instead of more, its also kinda bad design, by the time i place 2 different offerings, mobs/boss is dead, so it might be only worth for some high tier Arbiter i guess and i would also have to cut cleric, cause no more skill slots.
@@AshinWoW Oh I see, the PoB link didn't show you take the Necromantic Talisman node though? Maybe it's bugged on the website view (I didn't go fully into PoB2 view) or does the amulet make the SRS take damage even if it says "you" in the text. That said, I stand corrected on the Fire Resistance stuff, that is very helpful. As for nodes, pathing towards Patient Barrier gets you near another Jewel socket and having more Spirit gets you more summons out which is also DPS -- but like you said, SRS is the main DPSer here so I don't know your mileage for that. Thank you for responding and again I apologize for some of my poor phrasing. This exchange has also reminded of some points I've overlooked/forgotten and I'm eager to try out a variant of what you made myself. Thanks!
Interesting build. I'm currently running Raxxanterax Minion build with Arsenalists but this certainly looks tempting if I manage to scrape together the gear for it.
Raging spirits one might be cheaper, as the +3 raging spirit jewel alone is 2-3div, where im pretty sure, Arsonists or Snipers goes for around 100divs. So might be affordable to try it out, with some cheaper pieces.

Maybe add detonate dead for those higher aoe needs. That is what gives me the aoe i need on my minion master. Anyhow, I had no idea raging spirit scales that well for dps....
I might do that, just first i have to upgrade current build with maximum dps possible(i have PoB2 with over 5mil dps), due to some talent changes and rings, and if even that wont help with Simulacrums, then ill try out your detonate dead idea.
@AshinWoW it worked for me at least. Did some minimal speccing for larger area. Then added echo and that gem that people often use in firewall that makes 3. Now each DD does 3-4 large explosions around the screen if there are corpses. Enough area that they hit same mobs multiple times.

Also, your comment pushed my to actually check it, so i spend some divines for testing, with helmet with +1 corrupt, and yes, you are 100% correct, not only level over 40 dont increase hp or dmg, it also dont show up as lvl41 in gem tooltip, it is still in fact lvl40 even after wearing theoretically level 41. So thanks again for your imput :)

How to get that many socket?
If you asking about sockets in the items, you have to get lucky why using vaal orbs.
What would you recommend for the build when playing in ssf? Should I aim for specific passive tree or gear/skills?
I dont think u can rly aim in anything in SSF, you kinda play with whatever you get, but i would focus on getting minion levels, caping my resistances and getting alot of ES on items, talent tree would be pretty much the same, with any good jewels with minion related stats / energy shield, and i would change area with my +3 chaos res, +1 max res jewel, cause if u dont have it, few talents there can be removed. That would be my plan prob.
I had a map with 5 small breach hands in it, 20 pure exalts, only 2 portals left after muling all the goodies back to ho, about 100 rarity
tbh my spark int stacker currently has 17% iir and with juiced maps i get similar drops. i think that going for perfect jewellers and divines remains rng, since multiplying a number close to zero by factor 1.17 or 7.05 still is a number close to zero. there most likely is also damping factor involved, since community data shows that anything >100 iir does pretty much nothing. however i personally hope that on full game release with all uniques available, iir will increase the chance for t1 and t0 unique drops, now that would give actual tal rasha set mf vibes :p do minions feel better after patch 0.1.1 ? I hated how they died all the time when off screen
Yea, even if rarity matters or not, im pretty sure faster builds like yours for example, going to be still better in terms of divines per hour, this build im playing is just a version for minions enjoyers, and since theres no minions preffiex or affixes on items, rarity is basically only stat that does something. Minions get better after patch, they are not dying at all, untill some juiced expedition encounters, and when they die being too far, they instantly respawn now, so thats something, however, minions are far from being good at this moment in my opinion. Ai is pretty bad, damage is not spectacular, they are pretty much a good build to start your poe2 adventure as a new player, they are rly strong in campaign, but falls off later.

Well, my main reason to use them, was because i played alot of them in poe1, but since in poe2 they are not that great, the point is basically to do some ok dmg, block some projectiles, and kill some mobs that are behind doors mainly, where snipers cant attack.

Oh thats simple, theres no other preffix or suffix, that works for minions. Im working on minmaxed level41 raging spirits build, that runs less rarity, ill do the video soon prob, missing a 150div helmet with +1 level corruption, when i get it, ill do a video about less rarity one. Also waiting for PoB2, to make sure, the build i figured out, is actually a min max version, not a meme.
@ yeah but even a dead stat is better than overspending for a rarity that won’t matter past 150-200 anyways
@@texasrush0407 Im still pretty sure, that going to 300 resistance gives me nothing, while going to 600rarity still give me atleast something, but yea, im down for overspend and min max this build, not saying you should do that, or its worth to do that :) If i would not overspend on rarity, i would overspend on resists anyways to have min maxed version.
@ but it doesnt give you anything. Ive seen spreadsheets of people testing it and with 600 rarity compared to like 150 there was 0 difference
@@texasrush0407 Oh, thats great, can u give me the link to some comparisons between 150% rarity and 600% rarity on lets say 200 maps each, with identical maps, layouts, mods, numbers of rare monsters etc? I would gladly confirm for myself that it makes actuall 0% difference :)
This build is insanely expensive though
Yes, the items i have, are rly expensive, but you can start this with very low budget, like for example Mahuxotl shield with only 2 sockets its pretty cheap, same as body armour with 4 sockets, or worse ventors gamble rings and like 40% intenuity belt, so yes, i am on very expensive budget, but u can literally start from scratch and upgrade it over time same as i did.
Why not just go arsonists? Don’t they still have the best clear in general ?
Trough this 40 days i played with arsonists only, frost mages only and now im playing with snipers, im pretty sure, u can do just fine with arsonists, but i think snipers do little bit more dmg, which you will need cause raging spirits are much worse in poe2 than they are in poe1.
@@AshinWoW well you should eventually choose one and find a sceptre that specializes in that minion type. like if u settle on sniper, getting faster attack speed, damage, and then flat damages of as many types as u can to allies, or if u go one of either frost or storm mages, getting 3 of between cast speed, damage, and crit chance / dmg to allies (and then ofc +5 minions and hopefully spirit)
@@meowmeow9326 yea, but to settle on one minion, i actually need a working pob2 to compare dmg of all of them since for example raging spirits, dont even have damage in tooltip for now, as it is for today, my pob2 crashes when i add snipers, or raging spirits, so cant rly decide now.

There is a hiddencap on rarity, which has his most effective value at around 150%, everything above this is just a waste of money and fuckin retarded. This shit been out since week 2, but gz on wasting multiple divines for no difference at all. Fuckin gametourist lmao
Dont you need Grave bind glove in order for the kills from minions count as yours so the rarity can proc?
As far as i understand the game, u dont need the gloves for rarity, because when you open every minion tooltip, rarity is there, also, im pretty sure i would not drop so much stuff if rarity would not work without gloves.

I dont know. Its just provedf that rarity doesnt matter that much. I have around a 100% and I get pretty much te same amount.
tbf same lol, from what i heard from others experimenting with rarity, there is a cap around 100-150%. What goes above it's useless or diminishes the returns.
I can agree with that, but even if rarity with higher amounts dont do much, theres currently a problem in the game, that theres no usefull preffixes or suffixes for minions users, only affixes that matters on items for "summoner", is resists, attributes and energy shield in my case, as theres no increased minion dmg, or attack speed, or crit dmg or crit chance that u can roll on items, or no usefull uniques as we have in poe1. As i already have 18k energy shield, im overcapped with resistances by alot, and i have more attributes, rarity is the only stat that have any use for my unfortunately, so yes, you might be right, u might not need 600 rarity, but i think its still better than having 300 fire resistance or 200 strength.

Nice job man! but honestly you should really work on your Lootfilter and customize it heavily because it shows waaaaay too many garbage items atm, after that your maps will go much quicker
Yea, im currently running uber strict filter that i customized for showing rare items, as they are big part of my profit in last 40 days, like for example i dropped a rare energy shield body armour that i sold for 50divines, but i could prob turn off few items.

Both are kinda equal, depends what u want to do, if u want some passive healing and more dmg, wildstalker is better, if u dont care about dmg, and u want some reactive healing, Groove will be for you :)

Yes, u go into bigwigs > Dungeon Bosses > Dungeon u want to set up > top right corner u pick the boss u want > then on ability u want to see a timer, u press " >> ", and then u check the "emphasize" and "countdown" fields.

Sure buddy, 7's are not bad, you will get there, and for the tree, i just feel safer, specially im playing solo, in pugs, but if u get used to convoke, its better overall, cause u can do much more damage, however, i would try both, and see which one feels more comfortable for you. What addons you run for healing? Ui is nice. And why wildstslker over Grove??
@@chuckpoklikuha7597 Most of it is a standard blizzard UI, with some weakauras that shows me party kicks, m+ timer or party stuff, also using bigwigs for dungeon alerts. As for the wilderstalker over Keeper, i dont think i neccesary need this extra Keeper healing atleast for now. Not even sure if it does that much healing to begin with, but u can play either to be fair.

@@chuckpoklikuha7597 You mean the one on cursor? That one is QE Dynamic Cursor Druid - Dragonflight , it tells you if you have wildgrowth, swiftmend, lifebloom and efflo rdy to use, if thats what u mean.

Hi Ashin, I don't know why your video was recommended, because I haven't been looking for any goldmaking guides at all, but I'm glad it was. I've dipped my toe into goldmaking before but I was always intimidated by the time and the risk investment when I had no clue what I was doing but after hearing your opinion I think I might just give it another go.. Do you think you could make a guide on how to set up TSM and using CraftSim efficiently (especially for goldmaking through professions) and some more important things to keep aware of when using them? Great vid, keep them coming!
Sure buddy, i will do some kind of "what i exactly do right now" with my proffesions in next few days, ill just show exact what and how i do, cause iv seen alot of videos about goldmaking, however, not many of them gives exact examples how it works in reality. Yea, glad u want to give it another go, its not hard, in next video, you will see :)
