Dog is prepared for launch. Love it! I've watched a few of these videos and I haven't seen the back of that motor yet. 25? It's so quiet it's tempting me badly to go spend some of the kids inheritance money. I love the sound of a two stroke but I'm getting old and quiet is good too now. So is a warranty and all new wiring/ignition/efi. Really on the fence. You did what looks like a really slick job on the stick and control installation too. I will admit the Cadillac is my favorite though. Exactly the direction I want my '66 Sea King SF14 to go. I am thinking fiberglass for the front deck, I don't see another affordable solution since I'm not sure they ever put a front deck on it or the Starcraft's since it is rebadged. Found one in a friend's barn that had been repainted, I found out what oil mix to use but no idea where the mixture knobs should be before I start it for the first time, kids have twisted them all over so I haven't a clue where to put them to start it.

I once had a 14ft montgomery wards aluminum v boat with a 1956 Merc 20hp tiller drive motor. That little thing would scoot. Love this old boat. Never heard of cadillac for name of a boat maker however. Looks nice in it's natural aluminum finish.

In the mid 80's I bought a small 13' runabout with a very old 20hp Johnson. It would start up reliably for a cold start with 2 pulls, one to fill the carb (I always ran it dry when flushing) and second pull to turn over the engine. The rest of the day with one pull.

I have a 1968 9.5 Johnson and 1972 9.5 Evenrude on my 1436 Jon. I have them connected. They get me 15.9 mph
