@@gerrymandolin Hi Gerry, I still run my community group. I founded it 10 years ago & we're still going strong :D I like to teach songs that are not "uked to death!". My group don't mind a challenge! We've recently been learning California Dreaming :)

Not sure about the tab but Ultimate-Guitar has all the chords and lyrics for the song. I just worked out the tab for the instrumental part by ear. Once you get the instrumental part, the rest of the song is not too dissimilar. Is it the mandolin or another instrument you play? Good luck!

Excellent Rob, pleased to hear the videos are useful. Learning songs by ear takes a while but keep going and it’ll get easier. The reason I put the tabs on screen is that often I find just having the first few notes of a tune is enough to learn the rest. I remember as a kid just listening and re-listening to the same bits of songs (often the Pogues on vinyl!) and trying to play along. It was tricky but fun! 👍
