I would face the forever dark gladly if it didn't mean leaving behind some people who really can't navigate this world without me. So like a golem or maybe a husk of what I once was I can take these shrieking bones and ligaments of mine that cry for an eternal rest and instead force them forward. Through the years, not allowing myself the luxury to comply with my rebellious coil until the task is complete and death is earned. That to me is the definition of strength; to keep moving forward despite not having any desire to do so

The problem is that I know his behavior towards me was toxic and yes he liked me but he didn't love me and didn't get to treat me as a mature man, we were so young so ignorant so innocent, and I know I got over him... But after each breakup of mine and everytime my heart gets broken I can only think of him, I do compare anyone that I meet to him, and I know that this is wrong and this is my trauma and that I should heal it, but I find myself stuck again and again...

I'm a Christian and I'm 17 I never thought I'd feel this feeling until I got a girlfriend... But life had decided that it would be my mother. My mom wanted a divorce all because she is narcissistic and she is trying to control me my brother and father. I have to go through this until my brother is 18 (I promised to protect him). Thankfully it is 50 percent visitation and mostly full custody for my dad (who actually loves us in a Christian way). She was trying to extort money from our dad. She has family debt but it's all fake because the money she took is with her grampa, but we can't prove that. And since I've found this song today it's helped me (manly) cry out my kept emotions... It's funny because this song perfectly represents how I feel. I love her but her actions and fake love are making it hard to really love her. So as this song says I'll leave her.

2024 and I am trying to pull myself out of the trainwreck. I am 21 years old, a female who feels like she has achieved nothing in her life, but I will not give up. I refuse to let negative thoughts convince me that I am not enough. I am enough - for myself, for those who love me, and for God, who created me and entrusted me with this beautiful body. I will not let a few sad moments define my future or end my story. Those moments have passed, and I cannot change them. The only one holding on to them is me, and by doing so, I am hurting myself more. What happened has happened, and while I can't go back and change it, I can change my future. No matter how long it takes, I will pull myself out of this trainwreck. If I can't use my hands, I'll use my mouth, and if I can't use my mouth, I'll use my head or whatever part of my body is capable. I will make sure I get out of the darkness because there is light at the end of every tunnel. If I stay stuck in the darkness, I'll never get a chance to see that light. Depression is painful and hard to overcome, but it is not impossible. Yes, you may have gone through worse than I have, but we feel the same pain. The amount of pain is equal, even if the misfortunes are not. We are both numb, but I am doing something about it. I see myself as a billionaire, married, with kids and a handsome husband. I see myself as a community leader and a spiritual, prayerful person. I see that future, and I want to make it a reality. But it won't happen if I keep crying and whining about my pain. The only person who truly understands what I'm going through is the one who created me, and though He is not physically with me, He sees me and hears me. One day, we will meet. God loves me enough to create me, so I will love Him enough to become a better person. I will not disappoint Him as I have disappointed myself and my loved ones. With God, there is no judgment. I won't end it all. I won't be a coward and end the pain when I CAN deal with it. I have made it this far by bearing the pain, so why give up now when I am so close to defeating it? I will never give up. I am strong. I am beautiful. I am a human with feelings, and I am pulling myself out of this trainwreck. You can too. You just have to find something you are thankful for.
