@@paulaodd4881 he is an magnificent singer/musician isn’t he Paula. I went to see the show again on the 15th September in Coventry. It was my 3rd time since they restarted. I love when he sings ‘Mr Bojangles’ - exceptional. There is now a wonderful singer called Lara de Belder, you will be blown away by her voice and the duet with Stuart brought tears to my eyes. This sensational band of musicians are perfection every time. Will Mr Haugh be performing on the 10th? I am sure wild horses couldn’t keep him away…. Enjoy 😀🎵🎼

@@nocturnalmusiclover1530 I just went and watched some of Lara's vids and I am really looking forward to the show (I already was, but she's next level with a great jazz voice!). For me, I'm going because my late Nan would have loved this evening of entertainment (we used to sit and watch Glen Miller's Orchestra on the tv and she had all the records and piano music, etc. Stuart Haugh - I watched his performances before buying tickets and he just embodies the spirit of the Glen Miller band to me, the sheer joy, exuberance and love of music and performance shines through in a way that some of the other singers before him haven't? You can see a clear difference in the orchestra as well when he is with them vs other vocalists, I think? Either way, I'm dragging my husband out for a date night and I'll be bringing my late Nan's photos with me so that she can enjoy the performance in spirit (whoever performs), I know we're in for a treat! xx

@@bexuk1825 The best UB40 tribute out there. Whether it’s going to see them perform in intimate venues, or in front of thousands at sold out festivals, theatres shows nationally etc. It’s always a pleasure to see them. I capture them in their rawest form or the more polished theatre shows. My phone will never capture the magnificence that is hearing these world class musicians play and the range of vocals in the band. Particularly when filmed in a small rock venue. To see and hear them live is the only way, hands down every time. But for me… memories captured will always be special. Saw them perform last weekend at a festival! Their energy never fails! They blew everyone away. So I wholeheartedly agree. They are bloody brilliant 🔥🤗❤️🎵☀️😃💃🪩

Yes except one of the female vocalists was different. They all smashed their solos and were incredible. 😊

@@nocturnalmusiclover1530 Al Biondi orchestra. You won't find the band on youtube i did all private affairs from 1976 to 2016 and wasn't able to record much of any good audio visual quality. I wish i had but never thought about it, we just ran from one gig to the next doing the most one nighters around 1980 187 dates! it was crazy busy! You may find some of my students on youtube playing some of my 'jazz duets by Al Biondi' i had published by the Mel Bay company for a variety of instruments in 1999 and then in 2005. I play sax and clarinet and have a very busy teaching business nowadays. One of the things i strongly urge my students to do is listen, listen and listen! When it comes to playing big band era swing music, the notes on the paper are only half the story. To recreate the sounds and the solos you've got to study them over and again. I'm sure you know exactly what i mean. I think i'm on youtube playing a few tunes with a student of mine from about 15 yrs ago. If you look up mitchel revich you may find us playing and you can hear me a little bit. 'it don't mean a thing" is one of them i remember in particular. I don't have the technical skills to put clips on youtube, i wish i did. take care, thanks. Al

Hi Brett The name of the show is Glenn Miller & Big Band Spectacular, however you are absolutely correct; this version of ‘Sing Sing Sing’ is indeed Benny Goodman.

@@nocturnalmusiclover1530 No worries my friend. I actually like Glenn Miller at least as much as Benny Goodman. My father brought me up on all of the Big Band tunes of his youth and I loved every minute of it.
