      As you can tell I was really pleased with my book. Did you see my Italy one as well? It is a smaller book but still a concertina type book. I love the way your ideas can flow and you are not depended on ‘filling a particular page’ before moving on..

    I love creating fodder and I do not file any of it. The pieces get cut out with scissors and they all go in a big oblong tin so I can rummage through it. The odd crease or curled corner is welcome texture.

    Thank you. It's a good idea to be mindful of all techniques. That painting had a lot more depth after you were finished. It's a small thing, but it really made a difference. I'll try it on something I'm working on. Thank you!

    I have small sketchbook that fits in my purse. I carry a graphite pencil and 1 black marker with me. I have no rules and put anything I want in the sketchbook. I enjoy having that with me.

    I’ve got a tiny sketchbook that I made (it’s about 2 inches, square). I carry it in my pocket with one of those pens that has 4 colours on one pen. I use it when I’m waiting around so it has quite a few sketches of waiting rooms hahaha. I call it my Emergency sketch kit!

      Great idea. I haven't tried those 4 colour pens. I must admit that I tend to be a black pen artist but 4 colours sounds tempting
