Great video. I subscribed to your channel as well!
Great Video!
Incredible shots here man! Love these mighty Shay's in action along with the Hooter Whistle noises
Were those near the Danville KY yard?
I live near the Danville line from Louisville, Ky ! Busy trackage. I worked as a Special Agent for Illinois Central Gulf after Viet Nam and Murray State Univ. East St. Louis was a terrible location for Railroads. I couldn't hack it and left! RIP Richard Saba! The Rajin Cajun" from New Orleans who lost his life there in October 1975!
Good to see ya out there. I was the conductor south of Danville.
Awesome shots there!
Great video.
2nd is top right, 3rd is top left. He said it backwards, also yes they came with tecumseh and kohlers, first usually was electric start second was usually pull
Awesome video here!
good for mining ❤❤❤
Very nice video
Very nice shots there! That was funny to see it do an "Fireball" on good resolution film like this here! Keep up the great work there
Thanks we were standing there and I was rolling and then it popped off and I was like I GOT THAT IN 1080P!
This was fun. I spent lots of time in carbide light years ago while spelunking in Wisconsin. At the time, this was "state of the art" for lighting caves.
Originally, they were miner's lamps. Water goes in the base, and calcium carbide goes in above. When water and carbide mix it produces acetylene gas. The gas can be explosive, so it require caution. I once had a small cast iron cannon that used carbide & water to produce a rather loud bang.!
i figured that out the hard way at one point i was holding a fireball in my hand!
That sheet metal clip on the back was there in order to clip it onto a slot on a miner's hard hat. Those are there today but of course, use flashlights. Yeah, the hazard of a fireball at the end of my nose would discourage me too!@@bigjoe1274

The Making of The New! Birthday Train! (1993)!
Can’t wait to see the F units back out running again.
They still have the 50th anniversary units leading from what I’ve seen
Wondering how the FP7’s will look once they’re released from rebuilding. Never gotten video of them before.
Great catches awesome chase and excellent video

Dear! We are a family of Ukraine 3 adults and 2 children, we need funds in the amount of $ 4,000 for air tickets and for the first time for rent to move from Samarkand to Budapest, since we can no longer remain in Uzbekistan, we are not citizens of the country and there is no work. Could you do more videos from this area. My grandad lives around here and I like seeing videos of trains going by this place. Makes me feel like im there.
When I can, I like getting down along csx and I live within a few hours so there will be more to come!
@@bigjoe1274 thank you. I’m coming home from that place today and I’m gonna miss watching trains pass by
As an "Original Transcon RR" enthusiast, I enjoy these videos. As the commentator mentioned below, Where is this location, Big Joe? Thanks from Darrell. Posted 8-4-2023. 😇 and subscribed.
good stuff bigjoe
Great catches of the Coal Trains! New subscriber
That camera resolution makes this look like a classic 2011 railfanning video
Well the camera I use is a nikon d7100 and a Nikkor 18-200 dx lens. So it is very much early 2010s camera gear.
Hope you catch more than 167 trains in the future
Solo una. MaQuina para toda Esa Carga . Pesado
I’m almost certain that this model wheel horse did not originally come with a tecumseh engine. Correct me if I’m worong.
It did look on tractor data there were a few options, the hh60 tecumseh then for the 857 they used a Kohler for them.
@@bigjoe1274 well Id be willing to bet that is a very rare tractor did it say how many were manufactured?
Glad you found it. Having established that, would we be out of line asking where this place is?
Wanting to check it out
I have no idea who owns the land anymore but it's not gated off nor are there any keep out signs and a lot of people go there. It is a popular place for cavers and target shooters because of how remote and big the place is. If you want to go and not run into hardly anyone other than the occasional railfan I suggest going during the week, on the weekends it can get busy especially during the warmer months.
Is this place private or public
Excellent
Alright. Now let's hear your prius cold start.
That would be great except I don't have one
