Future Cancer Survivor
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 20 พ.ค. 2022
From diagnosis through recovery, follow the journey of one future cancer survivor.
Some fairly informed thoughts on King Charles’s Cancer.
Based on my recent experience with a cancer diagnosis, and the information so far revealed by Buckingham Palace about the diagnosis of King Charles III, I have some thoughts.

Excellent video. As I’m early in my journey this ketogenic diet will be important. Thank you again!
My pleasure, certainly! I've found, now that I'm nearly two years out from finishing treatment (this September!), staying mostly Keto still helps with energy and a general feeling of wellness.
Going through all of it myself
I'm so sorry you have to experience this. Please know that I am now almost two years out of treatment and, while I still have a way to go in terms of healing, the colitis has cleared. I am no longer experiencing any symptoms. It it horrible when you are going through it, but it does heal. Sending you wishes for comfort and patience.
@@futurecancersurvivor794 So glad your colitis has cleared up! And thanks for the response. I have radiation colitis and no idea if it will clear. I’m adamant that I will have no more surgery. They removed my bladder and prostate 4 weeks ago, however I had a rare type of aggressive bladder cancer “small cell bladder cancer” hence I received 8 hour long chemo sessions that appeared to do a lot of damage. Anyway, enough complaining. I’ll watch more of your videos as they’re informative and to the point. Keep it up!
@@Un-Woke thank you for the good words about the videos - they have been a coping mechanism for me as I have gone through this process. The radiation for me was far worse than the chemo, but it is all so specific to the diagnosis, isn't it?
Praying for you! BIG HUGS
Hang in there Lynnie! Sending healing vibes!
I hope for the best for you. Certainly, you are trying hard to get well. That's all one can do. I appreciate hearing you describe it all.
So happy for you, Lynn!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you, Lori!
Congratulations! You’re a funny lady!
Thank you! 😊
YAYYYYYYY, I'm so happy to hear about the clean sigmoidoscopy!
My goodness, our similarities are stark! Right out the gate here you mention cardinals and your grandmother, I've had a cardinal sit on my window sill and look right at me and I believe it was my grandma Grace's spirit visiting me or watching over me, her favorite bird was the cardinal.
That's lovely! Thank you, and thoughts to you and Grandma Grace.
You are my new youtuber addiction lol. Wow, you are quite the amazing lady! So articulate and warm! It's 2am and I'm not going to get much sleep tonight lol, because I have to keep watching your videos. I totally agree with you about the breathing techniques, I call it the 5-7-8 technique and it works well! My jaw dropped when you mentioned what I call "brain washing", which I find to be a soothing visual of gentle waves slowly going back and forth washing away the days harmful debris. I'm an info junkie lol, and love to read and learn new things daily, and because my dream was to be a Doctor, I do an immense amount of medical research. I'll stop rambling on lol, back to watching/listening to you! Praying for you dear!
Thank you for the good words and the prayers, and a blessing on your dream of being a doctor.
@Future Cancer Survivor I'm 60 and won't be around much longer, but thank you for the well wishes...
Wishing you all the best.
Thank you, and the same right back to you.
Congratulations on your good news! I will definitely keep you in my prayers. ❤
Thank you so very much!
Glad to see that you are doing so well. You look great! I can relate to your story having recovered from a stroke. It is definitely a journey with ups and downs!
We are warriors, sir! Thank you so much!

I did not know that, I just love doing it. Maybe now I'll do it more often: encouragement!
