Thanks! This video finally helped me solve the issue of receiving an error message all the time. And ChatGPT was not able to help solve this issue. Menn, you showed exactly what needed to be shown. Definitely a 'like' to this video for sure!
I understand this concept but it doesn't seem as practical as single cell referencing. I don't understand why, if the original data type is referenced, you can only view one field in the data type for every field that it it is linked to. I can only see one field but the whole row is referenced?? I dont need/want the whole row. Just a single cell. Example, If I want to reference User and have several fields in a seperate type that reference User Data, each of those fields showing a different User field. Bubble doesn't allow this, There is only one "Primary Field" that is shown for each different secondary field. So all of the referenced fields say the same thing?? Who thought that was a good idea? It makes very little logical sense compared to Excel and makes the Workflows much more difficult to structure.
the video is good, but it's a bit outdated. You don't need to place the icon in a group, you can simply use an icon and attach a workflow to it. and a few more things I noticed, but the general idea is good and helpful. Thanks.
Great video, you are doing this with the native plug in which is impressive. Every tutorial I have seen uses some sort of a different plug in. Just a couple of questions, how is the application fee being sent to your stripe account? I didnt see any actions for that, could you clarify that part? Also, how would you go about maybe holding off on a payment until a specific date?
I just like you because you so humble. MAY GOD GIVE HIM EVERYTHING HE DESIRES AMENN
Bro, I have ben watching various bootcamp videos and tutorials and I must say, you are an excellent teacher.
Bro this is amazing, I really appreciate your honesty.
the video goes too fast, I didn't understand anything
😥
great vid. what would you suggest if i were to want to make a story book interactive app using bubble and RIVE?
hello, nice but same question as @philholt6036 Do you know if using this method it's possible to dynamically send to a list of users, contact from our database? thank you
Thank you! Works great. Yes, make sure you are a Super Admin. You can click on Settings (gear icon at top), Integrations and then Private App. Create a private app and use the key. You will want to say "Private Key in Header" with Keyname "Authorization" and the key is "Bearer pat-na1....." AKA "Bearer {your private key}"
Hello, ton lien ne fonctionne pas pour ton site. Peux-tu l'actualiser ? 🙂 Très bonne vidéo, merci !
wisebubbler.gumroad.com/l/wisestuff Apologize for the delay - this is the link, now includes the materials for all the videos :)
Super helpful and well structured. Thanks!
Good morning, I can't access the editor
wisebubbler.gumroad.com/l/wisestuff Sorry about that. Here is the link, it now includes access to all the editors for all the videos
What if I built a whole app just from Gregory Jon’s online course in 3 months is that good 👍
Great video
Hello Mr Robot
Have you permanently shut down your Bubble editors for view?
I will reopen them this week, apologize for that.
Great explanation, Thank you!
very nice!! thank you for taking the time to give us this great course
much love for these steps i will indeed put them into practice. i actually finished building my first bubble app but i need to learn how to build great bubble apps. again thank!
This is super helpful! If one of those options was close and you are putting this into a popup, is there any way to rerence that popup and close it?
thanks this is an amazing guide. new to bubble and can't wait to build apps. you've got a subscribe and like!
Great video
Love this advice 🔥
It will be helpfull if you add items from the front-end
I get the relational database aspects of what your going over on here. My challenge is with accessing the various table data using repeating groups in bubble.
Same issues with the repeating groups. It all has to be in the same Parent group, which this concept doesn't allow. I honestly don't think they thought this through and have drastically limited the creation based off this alone.
Could you explain how you would move forward if you wanted to make sure that the kid:parent relationship could only link non-teachers in the Parents field? Would this be done through different data types for parent_users and teacher_users? What if a teacher is also a parent in the same school? Thank you!
It woooooorked !!
thanks for the video! a very useful sequence to follow
Good stuff. A lot of the bubble education content out there is mostly focused on design and app functionality but understanding how relational database design works in bubble is a key foundational education set that's missing. This is exactly what I was looking for.
starting my bubble journey now starting with basics and being patient, always self doubt and imposter syndrome but strating off using my learnings to build my own idea here goes
Is it just me or at around 13:00 you completely skipped a critical step (backend API workflow, how do I set it up?)
Great video, thanks for making it! Where do I find the Pro AirDev bootcamp? I can only find the one for beginners on Google.
I'll not proceed to part 4. From part 1 to part 3 all you do is to create a Data types and fields that we already know in part 1 it sucks men
Question man. Can you pay you to make a quick automation for me? This crap just confuses me lol
Bubble is just a UX design app, not like you're doing real programing like python and db design and sql queries!
You’d be surprised ;)
You have freaking no idea😂
@@abhishekubangera482 well, I know enough that I have gone through their online education/app. Also, I did forget to mentioned that any app developed within bubble is constrained to its environment.
@@wisebubbler may be!
Great video(!) thank you! Few things i wanted to ask: 1. What's the best way to let users add all the events to be sync with their calendars? meaning, i dont want that the user will click "sync to my calendar" for each event but the default will be to sync any task or not to sync at all. 2. Do you think that if the user ask to always sync his google colander, should i use a "refresh token" every time the user is login (of course with the condition - only if current time is smaller then exp token time) 3.Is there any way to know what type of guides and content do you have in Wise College? or i must purchase in order to see the content?
Hey @amit Great questions. In terms of material, wise.college has all the bubble editors for all the videos on my youtube channel. Additionally, the wise college subscription allows anyone to post questions and I'll respond in a thread and in some cases send a loom. As an example - recently I had a thread on how to display live google calendar events by month into the native bubble calendar plugin. the community is new so there's not many active members which means I'll be answering all your questions personally :)
would xano be used if i wanted to build an electronic medical record/patient system?
Petter Amlie has a second book now. It's about Bubble security
You did not show the API for delete event :/
How did u use the webhooks from Google, if any event changes in your calendar you listen to it in bubble for particular event changes or amy new event created or any event deleted from calendar
I watched all you videos, great work, I do have a question about the refresh token, I noticed that you call for the refresh token when needed, (when a button is clicked, and an event need to be on google calender) but what if I just want to view my calendar in my bubble app? how to keep it refreshed?
I mean, first time I log in and connect the bubble I have this code, but when I logout and back in, the code isn't there anymore
Hey love the video, i have a question, How can i view on my bubble app all the events scheduled for a certain week or day,is there any specific API call for that?
Big big big thanks. You're a legend.
HOW TO HANDLE REFRESH TOKEN SO WE DON'T HAVE TO LOG IN EVERY TIME?
Amazing video! In this very same excel context, what is a "thing"?
Thank you just start learning to use bubble got a long way to go but i let you know what happen
How did you get your full time Bubble job?
Long story short I applied online after contracting, doing the airdev bootcamp, finishing a freelance project and a personal project.I was a long journey haha. If you're interested, I'm happy to talk through it more in depth and give more personalized advice on the new community platform www.wise.college/
I love how you compared this to excel. I'm watching a class on udemy and the database series has been very confusing!
