I’m get confused do the real one have square size tag?
The fake hat I reviewed match the older hats 2010s the newer hats do not have box it big whole number with small fraction.

Yes 100% I feel for the price range $8-10$ is for sure a deal. What I have began doing is just waiting till big hat retailer have sales and get them for 18$-25$ to scoop multiple hats. I honestly think it just depends on quality you get it either a hit or miss with different styles and seller.
Man I just bought a couple of new era 9forty.. it seems to have the hologram…. It the stitching around the headband there’s x2 where my older one there’s x3 (your video seems to have genuine ones with x2 rows also?) The main issue that’s lead me here is that the new hat I’ve purchased (compared to the older one x3 years ago).. the build quality seems to have gone done hill a bit..

Yes when I feel some of dad older hats they just feel heavier and softer and just better quality the only thing a can say I do like about newer hat they have very nice embroidery work and creative designs.
@@HatCentralexactly, yeah even the ones I’ve purchased a few years ago, it does feel slightly, softer, slightly heavier.. and the new ones just feel a bit thinner. Guessing the factory in China supplying the genuine sellers, changed materials?

What website do you buy the Original newEra hats from?? You should also so a wash test on fakes and real
I either buy at new era,lids,but have recently been using Hat heaven a lot great sale prices $20 hats If they have sales.

Yea most factories are pretty much the same but Bangladesh made tends runs smaller but yeah if it is an older hat I have also noticed difference.

Heard before that 3/8 Bangla run small (1/2 as well) but for1/4 its the opposite. For me if they deviate they are generally not as snug as China made hats. Very rarely do they fit tighter than China made hats

All these people don’t know what they’re talking about. I’ve been collecting hats since 2001 and I’ve been selling hats since 2008. Nobody knows about this quality that they buy from China supplier. Remember all those hats are made in China. You smart enough for the best quality and you’ll get what you looking for not like the piece of shit that they sell at the mall new era piece of shit quality I make a video that will blow your mind
Okay sound like you know a lot about change in quality of new era since you been collecting longer that I been alive. I just buy from the easiest accessible websites i don’t go that deep to find manufacturers. I just compare what am able to find. Would like to see a video of the replicas you get.
I don’t care about this guy what he says about the video but I think it’s better to buy from China suppliers because they’ve been doing way better quality than the new era brand. I’m not sure if you guys noticed but they’ve been using cheap shit and the quality of bad, I’ll never buy from them anymore. I will just keep buying the replicas because they do last more

@@HatCentralobviously someone that tries to justify spending $5 on fake crap rather than $40-$50 on a real one. There are literally people out there that thinks anything over $10 is overpriced. Hence why all the websites selling Chinese crap is so popular lol

To get a new era wholesale account you need apply for it but it rarely opens right now they are not excepting any. you could try contacting them . Your best bet is to contact other retail such as hat club, ecapcity,flux to see if you can strike up deal with them to buy the excess hat on sale that don’t sell in bulk make sure you don’t get any really small or big sizes because they probably won’t move. These are not counterfeits hats 😅. You cant order from the factory directly and you also cannot specify where you want your design to be made. But they are subcontractors so you could probably have your own brand/no-brand hats made
In my opinion USA made was the TOP, in precision and general shape. After I put China and last Bang. The Bang hats have a crown to much low for my preferences
Totally agree, it suck that new era only makes 3% of all there hats in the USA.

Thank you for your video. I've had a 7 3/8 for over about 15 years and have decided it's time to replace it. I bought 2 used online because they were cheap and one is way too small and one is slightly tight so I was wondering if any of them were fakes. Looking at what you've mentioned all 3 seem genuine so I don't really understand the size difference.
Yes I have noticed that as well it mostly just because there where made in different factories
@@HatCentral it's crazy that they're sold as a specific size when they don't actually have that circumference. I measured about half an inch difference between the largest and smallest caps despite them all supposedly being 7 3/8 🤔
@@whatharmcanitdo yea it is most of the hats sizes are the same size but Bangladesh made tend to run smaller

Yes some fakes are getting really good. Just wondering where could I find some? so could review them.
The shiny strip under the sweat band as well as the invisible “ne” logo on the hologram tag on the brim that’ll only show up under UV light. I promise you no fake seller will ever put the effort to copy that lol. It’s sad how people are buying fakes with no shame now. Last but not least…. They can copy the design all they want, but the quality as well as texture will never compare.

only green/grey/black have any history to actual ball. it's so the blue sky glare doesn't interfere with your vision since you're wearing a hat. Everything else is just a trend for fashion with all these fruity colorways.
In my opinion, ANY NEW ERA cap NOT made in THE USA are fake including ALL of New Era's Chinese CCP made bloated crown GARBAGE! NEW ERA sold out sadly. Most reading this had no clue, look it up

i got the fakes and tbh for the price ( i got mine for almost 5 dollars) its well worth it, tho the built quality isnt as good as the authentic ones. thats my only complaints with the fakes.

3:32 fake (the hologram is horizontal and it is very different from the original one!) holograms should be placed only vertically, from about 2020 it was done at the top, until 2020 at the bottom on the tag! on the original tags, all vertical lines are made in waves, on non-original ones, all strokes are flat! but there are also fakes similar in lines, only they have the main new era tag inside on the sports tape white and black, when it should be black and white!on a black background is a white flag of the new era and on a white background is a black inscription of the new era! on the tag where it is written what is made of, there is a check mark in some words, if you look at the tag 3:32 where the fake is there they are not there! and it's not just that it's made somewhere dark, so that it's not so obvious! the tags on the originals where the composition of what it is made of is all embroidered and there is a sustained distance and there are such small stripes in the letters and the font is special, it is simply printed on the fake and very close to each other! there are still many differences there! sox and low profile original!(3:12-3:29)
