I wish I could remember dates like everyone else, I can’t remember a single date of something important that happened in my life, the only thing I seem the remember is my close family’s birthdays haha sending some good vibes your way! Also menthol or lemon halls do wonders for a sore throat
@@davecoors Thanks Dave. My memory has been a curse at times and caused me a lot of grief. I tend to call people out on BS and gaslighting me. It doesn't make me popular. Sometimes it is a blessing my brain is getting softer.

I'm here to see Gracie, Ruthie and Chloe. I'm down to my last cat and too old to take on another. I grieve every day for my former cat, Buddha. Raccoons killed him 2/12/22.

Hi, Fuh. I’ve not yet been able to sit and watch today and it’s difficult not to say fuh kittawl and just watch. But duty calls. I’d like you to know that I run a kitty rescue/catch/spay/neuter/release/adopt out or if unable, my 3 acre property and 85 foot barn is sanctuary to 38 kitties. 29 are fixed and I’m working on socializing the others. This doesn’t include 11 little fluffballs that I hand raised because dirtbags do awful things. How can I speak to you in private? No thirteen stepping. Just plain want to know you. No games. No shit.
@@every1nozitswendy That is golden of you to take care of so many souls. Kudos to you. Years ago a couple of old timers referred to AA as spiritual bootcamp. Eventually you have to move on to grow. I haven't been to a meeting in years. In the course of my life I have told my story to anyone interested in hearing it. What is it you want to talk about?
The more you say, the similar we are. The “old-timers” that carried me, then pushed me, passed away, one at a time. What was left was the revolving door crew and sickos that made meetings more sick than helpful. The program saved my life and loaded my toolbox with tools that I still use on a daily basis. It also taught me that I could face all the scary, painful stuff that I ran from without a drink or drug and that I wasn’t half as bad as I thought. I haven’t been to a meeting in ten years. The last one was so sick, I felt unsafe. I’m so pleased to have found you. Remember…. nothing….absolutely nothing happens in God’s world by mistake.

At one time I had 10 of them. Also went through a period of 10 years where I lost at least one a year as well as my dad and a brother. Most recent loss was 6/24. My 13+ year old Mikey was hit by a car. I've been in a constant state of grief for too long. These new girlie girls Chloe, Ruth and Grace are a blessing.
I know it’s a random request but I’d love to hear some stories from high school! Idk what made me think of it probably the losing football team in town takes me back to my years we sucked as well lol
@@davecoors That might be tough. Lots of haze and fog. Started drinking at age 11/12 and smoking dope around 12/13. It got worse from there. By 9 or 10th grade I was getting high daily and the weekends were starting on Wednesday. During the 50's, 60's and 70's there were some pretty good football teams. I graduated in 1978. When my mom was going to school the football coach was Bob Devany. He went on to Michigan State, Wyoming and then Nebraska, where they won a couple national championships.

Hey - good morning. I spent my day yesterday trying to keep in touch with my daughter. She lives in Augusta Ga . The hurricane came through there and a tree came down on the house. No power . She was able to only get texts - which was a blessing. She called me this morning - she was in the car trying to get gas in the car ,ice and food. I agree with you about how scary our Country will be if she would get in. I don't know why some people don't get it.

@@gingermast4389Happens all the time. Over the years I've gotten better about how I choose to react to it. Still have a long way to go. Some say we shouldn't take those type of things personally. To a point I don't. While I realize that she didn't spend her morning planning on hitting anyone with her car, it was my ass and life that would have suffered. That I take personally. I guess if one likes someone, watching an occasional minutes long video to see what's new in that someone's life, has value, to me and probably others too. With the show last weekend, the last for the year, there's time to host family dinners again. That's happening later today. I started the day baking 3 loaves of bread...one for each family unit. The corned beef roast is on the stove. Bought green beans and 5 ears of corn at farmer's market yesterday. Cooked the beans with bacon. Boiled corn and cut off cob. They only need to reheat later. Also purchased broccoli which will be cooked later which along with taters rounds off the menu. Forgot, will make guac later as I purchased 4 avocados yesterday. Will have that with t chips Maybe bro[also Mike] will make ice cream for dessert. He does often. The Alpena show was really good again this year. In the top 4 of shows this year. At 82 and getting weaker with the years, the weights for tent are becoming more difficult to manage. But worse than that, I don't tolerate the hot days at the shows. And to think I used to lifeguard on the Atlantic and thought nothing of sitting outside in all that heat day in day out. How things change. Glad to see the Trump sign in your yard. What some people don't seem to recognize is the slid to Socialism. If it goes too far, our basic freedoms will disappear. [speech, press, religion, petition, assembly] So will the second, or so strictly regulated as to be made useless. I didn't lose my father in WWII fighting for this country to tolerate the slide left. Glad to see you enjoying your new family members. I wish you well... Doug
Two comments in one day? I need a life. I have no hills to ride, just a flat road, still it is beautiful. I suspect the scenery there is incredible, but my wife can't handle cold winters. 😊

You don't need a life, you need a straight jacket, thorazine and a padded cell. ;-) When it is cold you can always throw on another layer of clothing. The most difficult thing is getting out the door. It is magic once you get out and get moving. When it is hot you can only peel off so many layers. I've thought about moving to a mountainous area of Arizona. For a variety of reasons I'll be staying here.
Life is nice. Still baking my own bread and cakes. Changed my tires on the heach cruiser again, this time with mountain bike tires off of Amazon. 40 pds instead of 60 pds is a different ride. But on the bright side no more flats. I can ride on a good asphalt rode by my house, no traffic. Lots to see, horses, goats, chicken, sheep and cows. I ride and listen to an audiobook. It is nice. Today was 30 miles, nice and easy. The kittens are more fun to watch than Netflix l.
Hey Glenn! you must have thighs like fire hydrants or oak stumps to ride a single speed cruiser 30 miles. The kittenzez are a joy to behold and a well needed shot of life around this home. Keep on baking and biking!
My nephew killed himself. Was very troubled soul and nothing seemed to help him. Just give them love all you can and let them know your there for them even if they don't reach out for it.
