Certainly is overkill. I’ll probably never use half the features on this but I want it lol. As far as I know, some differentiators that help Asus substantiate the $700 price tag are: several pcie 5.0 m.2 slots, better vrms and mosfets for cpu overclocking, Asus says you can supposedly OC ram up to 8200, and it’s got a SlimSAS connector on the right hand side. Again, definitely overkill and I’ll probably never use it, but I like the idea of having it.

​@EDIPCGarage Even the base x870s are pretty overkill 💀. The best part about the Hero though is the super fast and actually stable ram speeds you can get out of it so I would snag a crazy kit if you can. I they go 8200 if I'm not mistaken. It's not a huge difference but still a cool overclocking thing.

Also, if you do make a video, could you showcase what the build looks like from the inside without the side glass. I'm planning to buy this case and I would love see to how it looks in real. Currently, I have a dual chamber case but it takes up too much space on the table. This Gamdias case is quite slimmer which I liked.

I knowwwwww. I got the 4060 for pretty cheap. $150. I’ve tried 6600 xt and I’ve had some trouble selling those. Like how gamers like rgb, they also like nvidia more than amd.

Remember that a lot of people prefer nvidia more than amd, honestly after all the driver problems i had with various of my rx 6000 series cards im never buying an amd gpu again, still i prefer amd for cpus and nvidia for gpus.

I’d be careful around wiring that isn’t secured down like the jfp1 cables. Sometimes they can be loose and air from this may blow it off. I doubt the air can blow off soldered on components. And as far as fans go, I doubt it can generate enough charge, but probably better to hold down the fan when blowing and not what I did haha

Price in a year will be much different, also definitely recommended buying parts used but do invest in a new SSD, PSU, and PC case. As you will want fresh storage, reliable power, and a case that fits your liking.

Most of my builds that I sell usually cost around 400-500 and I center those around a lower mid range combo of a Ryzen 5600 and a 3060 ti/3070. Sometimes I do more expensive builds if a buyer requests something like a 4070. I do these very sparingly but sometimes I do top end builds like a 4080 super/4090, but those can range anywhere from 2500-4000.

Normally you can use whatever software for your motherboard….like Asus armorycrate or gigabyte fusion but if you have a Corsair item, such as the ram, you’d have to control that separately with icue. It can be a pain in the butt. If there is a software that controls everything else plus Corsair, I’d love to know about it!

Mine ended up being DOA but I did have some thoughts on it as I was trying to troubleshoot it. I’ll post a video about it. Hopefully yours is good!

@@EDIPCGarage just got mine. everything is working fine but i have issues no input detected on my monitor.pc run just fine, cpu cooler, ram and case fan running but on monitor no input detected. already tried taking out ram, remove and insert back cmos , plugged at gpu port but still the same. im using ryzen 5 5600 and rx6600xt.

@@kennyd7667 looking at the specs, the 13600k seems to pull a little more wattage than the 5700x3d. That being said, if it’s cooling this adequately, I think you should be fine.
