How do you set it up with out phone?

I had K-band lockout due to a false alarm and the detector failed to alert on a police K band alert - resulted in a ticket. Either the police were on the same band as the business emitting that false alarm or it doesn't work as spec'd.

Good video man, in Canada could I just use KA? I also noticed I get a ‘pop’ and sometimes KA from other vehicles blindspot, is there anyway to turn that off? Thanks!

When I press the mute for the band options it doesn’t change anything

Does anybody with a ESCORT Radar 9500ix have a (POP) band on there detector ????? I just noticed it when setting up my escort , it alerted me when i was coming up to a STOP SIGN ????? Steve doesn't say anything about this in his Video !!!!! I've had my ESCORT for a few years , i had NO idea about some of these bands and what they stood for , I lost my Owners Manual a long time ago !!!!!

Escort max 360 does well as far as offering directional arrows to locate police around you but I luv a scrambler device by far Because even tho your speeds may be higher then others you’re more safe with a scrambler especially if there’s one mounted in rears

I got the same exact radar detector all because it offers way more features One of the features I luv about the escort max 360 is that it also lets you know where police are using aircraft in certain areas and it let’s you know where speed cameras are used which is very important features 👍🏽 But regardless of how good a radar detector may be I will never use a radar detector by itself without using a scrambler period….if so it’ll be too easy for police to see my speeds either from the rear or front

Maan I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt but this radar is mad iffy, passed cops a few times that were obviously radaring in the cut, doesn’t go off, it does work sometimes I have to give it that but I really bought this for the highway cops that be in the cut but has yet to get it to go off on one, reasons why I’m still scared to speed with this thing because it doesn’t work that good

Can this work on the x50?

I've been using Escort radar detectors for years. Always worked well. I live in S.C. & on Live PD a few weeks ago a police officer from Richland, S.C. stated the radar detectors don't work anymore in S.C. Ever since I saw that show, I've noticed my detector only seems to pick up "K" band. I use to pick up "KA band" all the time. Have the police been able to disable the radar detector? Is my detector useless?

So should i turn off x and i band? they sound fucken useless to me

On the standard FR1 mode, there is a 1 in-between the front and rear signal strength that changes to a 2 and back again to a 1. The whole time the rear strength bar is maxed out. At one point the arrows indicating direction finally indicated radar was coming from the rear as well as the front. However, why, if the rear signal strength is maxed out, wouldn't the rear arrow show the whole time? I have been searching everywhere for this information. Oh and also, what the does the 1 and 2 indicate? I would think direction of the radar yet it doesn't with with the arrows.

Hey so my cousin has this exact same one that he bought a couple years ago. Im planning on using it, do i need to do any updates or will it be completely fine and accurate if I just hook it up and use it?

is there a way for me to disable to Autolearn on the MAX 360. I just updated to the latest version for my serial number 79 which is 1.7 and I can not disable Autolearn anymore. I do not feel safe about my detector locking false signals because I believe it will lead to the device locking real signals

Hey Steved a couple of questions. 1. My 9500ix only came with a "dumbcord"- Escort support said I would need to spend over $100 to get the smartcord? BTW Sales there- NOT every helpful. One guys says I can get the smartcord for $74, so I get transferred to sales and they say $99 plus more. 2. You kept saying learn would save threats "at intersections". Does this mean if I roll buy a CVS that is NOT at an intersection, the learn would not work?

I can care less how pretty that escort detector looks. By itself that receiver is useless. Basically garbage without a shield that’s garbage. 👎🏽👎🏽 and police can detect that device.

Escort only built 2 radar detectors that are built undetectable to police ok remember that. The two detectors escort built are for truck drivers that is the STI magnum which I currently own and the redline. It doesn’t matter how pretty or good looking these radar detectors are they all pretty much does the same thing except have different features. A radar detector is only designed to alert you of police radar usage around you or ahead of you. But radar detectors does not shield you of speeding. So if your speeding on laser you already hit because there is no warning on laser period. Back in early 2000 I had speed tickets like a rap sheet using escort radar detectors because I didn’t believe in using jammers like I use today. On a radar trap if your not using a front door your an easy target. Because police radar signal is wide. You can’t use a front door on a laser hit because police laser is very narrow and very quick like a steering size circle. Police laser is 18in at 300ft away to 6ft Wide diameter at 1 miles away.
