Thank you Dimitris
I should have started following you before my trip to Greece last year 😂.. I have a friend there and I went off by myself for awhile.. I came back asking “what is Kalimera?” Because every shop owner greeted me this way

Please keep going :) your content is really good and informative, also very easy to follow! I love Greece, but I am from the UK and I don't speak the Language. I really want to be able to at least hold a simple conversation in Greek :) mostly when I have visited parts of Greece they speak fairly good English, but I want to be able to communicate back in the native language
So good❤❤🎉
Thank you for the videos! I've been watching a couple of them, as I'm going on my second holiday to Greece on Friday. First time was on Corfu, this time we're going to Rhodes. I love Greece, the people are super nice, and this time I'd love to learn some of your phrases to show my respect for the wonderful culture! I heard "Chaire" (I believe that's how it's spelled). Is it still used?
Hello, my friend. Nice to meet you. I am watching your video. This is Seoul Korea. Nice to meet you, my friend.
Thank you
Thank you so much for making an easy to understand & learn video! I can now say hello to my 94 year old neighbour in his language.
Ef ka Lee stoh
thanks for making this video it helped me so much
How cool!
Greetings from Argentina! I've always wanted to learn Greek. your videos are very clear!! Gracias❤
Thank you for this overview!
You are by far the best I have found so far
Thank you for the lesson it was very easy to understand I will follow
😍
Thank you. You helped me with the pronunciation. I get really positive feedback knowing small phrases when on vacation in Greece.
I wondered whether the second version (Πώς είσαι) wasn't just a translation from English not really used in Greece (as I asked in my comment to the short version of this video). I guess not. (I've heard it from Greeks in the U.S.)
What about "Πώς είσαι"? Do Greeks really say that or is that a translation from English?
For the second way, doesn't the accent in "όνομα" shift to the last syllable before the pronoun?
How do you say “hello I’m your son in law”
Love this brother
good
Nice
Thank you so much, please keep going. You explain everything very well. I just discovered your channel while I was trying to email a professor who is Greek in origin haha. I feel lucky that I discovered your channel before one thousand subscribers.
as we will be going to Greece in aug othink a few words is all i can muster !thank you
This was great and yours pronunciation is very good.
I'd love a video going over the Greek alphabet, like a proper class/lesson on it.😊
An excellent video that provides an overview of the general aspects of modern Greek. Your English is pleasant to listen to, so I will subscribe to your channel right now, because in my opinion your channel deserves to grow! You could also do collaborations with Elena (Linguriosa), Leo (Portuguese with Leo), Giacomo (Podcast Italiano), and Elisa (French mornings with Elisa), which are the 4 biggest European language channels. They could help you make your channel known, and so you might reach a wider audience.
Thanks for the information, I’m just starting out and these are very informative
I think having comprehensible input resources (kind of like Dreaming Spanish) would be amazing, I understand it would take a while to make tho
Timely. Thanks for the intro!
One small suggestion that may make it easier for people like me who are still beginners with the greek alphabet would be to also show the pronunciation with latin (english) letters, like you do in some of your other videos. I like the clear and relatable way you present your lessons.
But also the international phonetic alphabet would be helpful to people who have studied it, but that are hard of hearing
Hi! Do you by any chance live near Athens and would be able to give classes ?
Greek is quite easy to pronounce, totally invested in it rn
Greek language is a great language that I want to learn. Just keep it up brother.
