I've loved them for years. While I enjoyed 250 two strokes and 250 four strokes, I felt I needed a middle ground, and the 450s at the time were way to much (and that gap is growing). I prefer a little bit of engine breaking, and I like the low-end torque, compared to a 250/300 two stroke. Solid bike choice, and they hold up well - just oil, oil filter, and air filter maintenance required, and we've gotten hundreds of hours out of these. 👍

I'm actually curious here, as we have gone up a tooth in the rear to compensate. In the past, due to how our riding was (gnarlier technical riding more than Moto), we would go up to 14T in the front, and 48T in the rear. I'll have to play with going lower in the front, since we currently have a 14-51 ratio currently. Thank you!

@@TripleT219 yeah 13 -50 seems to be the magic bullet for me. Still lots of top but lots of pull down low

Thanks! I've been riding the Huskies for a few years (since 2017), and each year I think of which one I want when my dealership asks. The main perk this year was the suspension change, as I have a 2020 Husky as well, and could feel the difference on the track. Just feels a bit more planted overall. I also prefer the subframe feel and shorter swingarm on the Husky vs the KTM, even though it's not a huge difference. Since 2022 will be a new chassis/model revision, I'll have to look into the differences more next year, and see if it would be time to bleed orange again. For what it's worth, I've been a KTM guy for most of my life, and I'm on bike 22, and all but 5 were KTM/Husky (the past 5 were Huskies, as well). So I've had time to seen the differences 😂
