We need an OC that can bring 5-6 offensive players with him. Mostly lineman.
Brennan Marion and if not OC, head coach then lol
Brent's got one more year
Seth was garbage and he will always be garage! Jr high is his only was to save his career
no toby, sooner nation isnt in the panic that was the LR leaving debacle. we just fired a coordinator. but guess what that happens in the sec a lot. in this conference you have to produce results or guess what? you become a cellar dweller really quick in this conference! well that being said we are officially a cellar dweller in the sec! i would say right beside vandy and auburn but they can move the ball and score points, so we are all alone at the bottom with the difference being we probably have a better defense than both of those teams.
I admire Seth Littrell. My son Joseph played against Seth in high school. My son became an Oklahoma All-State powerlifter for the Tahlequah High School Tigers in Class 6A. And, Seth coached one of the best college quarterbacks ever in Mason Fine of Locust Grove High School. Seth will Sooner than later get other offers. The SEC is not the playground as OU is finding out.
The SEC has nothing to do with Oklahoma’s offensive problems. They struggled to score against Houston. And except for Alabama, OU has more football accolades than any other in the conference. Had we gone into the conference a few years ago, way different story! So the heck with all this SEC lore. It would be just as bad in the Big Xii this year when you have these current problems
seth is a sooner! he will always be welcome here. that said we need to get this offense moving.
Two names that might need to be let go is bill Bedenbaugh and demarco Murray
No
You're nutty... Stick to soccer
@@chadjohnson2946I concur with you!!
I agree
Go get Cale Gundy back
🤡
Now!!!!
Plz!!
I've been saying this for awhile now. OU had great Heisman winning quarterbacks before Lincoln came around and Cale Gundy is the common thread. He was also a good running back coach so yeah get him back.
I still believe in this team
To do what, lose to Maine?
@@soonerdave01 nope they are gonna turn it around
If OU wins this weekend, does Kiffen get fired?
lmfao
Awesome stuff Plank
Sellers will get hurt somehow or get pulled for turovers and davis Belville will throw for 250 plus and a couple touchdowns and win
Wanna know how horrible a coaching and development job this Oklahoma offensive staff has done? If Oklahoma had picked 11 random people out of the stands last Saturday to play offensive they would have only scored 3 less points than the 11 players on scholarship
Why ppl wanna go back to Jackson smh it's over with move on Hawkins is the one give him more experience and a better line next yr
Honestly all these guys that are hurt move on. We need guys that aren't pussies and will be on the field unless they blow a knee or tear a muscle or break something. These kids just collecting checks
I hope everyone bitching and complaining is donating to the NIL. Can't get any better if we're not playing the NIL game!
October 16, 2024 Board of Regents, University of Oklahoma Dear Honorable Members, As a devoted Oklahoma Sooners fan since age 13, I'm writing to express utmost dismay and disillusionment with Brent Venables' leadership. Our once-proud program has become a laughingstock. I've donated, bought tickets, merchandise, and supported the team faithfully. However, after three frustrating years, I've given away my remaining home game tickets. Every Saturday, once a holiday for my family, is now a painful reminder of Venables' incompetence. Brent Venables is an excellent defensive coordinator but lacks head coaching skills. His $8 million/year salary is staggering considering: - 1-8 record against Top 25 opponents - 0-2 in bowl games - Averaging 5 losses/year - Dead last in total offense (behind only Kennesaw State University) Venables' failure to address fundamental issues is alarming: - Receivers unable to get open - Running backs unsure of play directions - Tight ends dominated - Incompetent offensive line Instead of acknowledging these issues, Venables employs empty platitudes, downplays championship importance, and gaslights fans. Oklahoma risks becoming an afterthought in college football, likened to Nebraska's decline. We demand change. Specifically: 1. Reevaluate Venables' contract and performance. 2. Address recruiting shortcomings. 3. Foster a culture of accountability and excellence. As fans, we're unhappy and urge you to intervene. Sincerely, The Oklahoma Football Fan
The text line has turned into a comedy club. Nothing factual they think they’re all that the punchline comedy club.!!! These coaches know 1 million times more than what the Texter’s do, and they make outlandish comments not based on facts concerning their job and their careers !!!
I think it’s funny how Parker knows so sure about qb situation
7-5 you need to throw him a parade....Vegas said OU would win 6 games and every OU podcaster talked about how disrespectful that was.. welll....
@@dezgarrett2790...... no doubt you'll dump your lower bowel when they go 8-4!....#OUDNA
This offense would benefit by huddling between each play on offense. Dont break the huddle til under 15 secs left to ensure defense head set communication is off. Offense lines up and either runs the primary play or checks to alternate play and go. When they are playing no huddle you have the OC out smarting themselves and the QB is seeing the defense shift multiple times. Lessen what the QB has to deal with prior to the play.
The issue is the offensive staff trying to marry two offensive schemes together. If Littrell could/ would just install his offense going forward, let Hawkins be the throwing QB that he is, the production would go up substantially. And given the multitude of injuries and two new young QB's offensive production like this is all but to be expected, especially when the O-line struggles to block out hold a block...IMO!
Unfortunately installing a new offense would be incredibly hard look what happened last weekend from just trying to make plays that would fit Hawkins.
@@biggie4380 ..... understood, but they've gotta start somewhere!
@@Sooner_Spy I know they need to figure something out but honestly I don't see a fix till the off-season
@@biggie4380..... so you're saying don't try?
@@Sooner_Spy no they have to try something but whatever they do it's probably gonna have to just be basic football plays basic blocking schemes. Just something to get them through the season
They ain't changing coaches everyone needs to just wait the season out and see how it goes
We have seen other teams switching oc's in the middle of the season and those team got better.
Dusty im glad your not the head coach. 😂
Good stuff Guys!!!
SC 23 OU 9 Fans will empty the stadium at the end of 3rd quarter.
Sark did not try to run up the score. BV will be fired next year. BV is a good man and a good defensive mind but he will go down with his wrong OC selection. Making a change is not necessaryily for winning games ( which will be very difficult to do) but to show that we don't settle for 130the offence here. I can not believe that BV is so cool with his team being the joke of college football. That's pretty sad.
Y’all are delusional if you think can coach offense
Mike rolling out did not work that great plus it cut the field in half cutting his options
Bro thet must have forgotten how to coach. offense of rankings are in the triple digits. 😂
4:50 - How is it myopic to say that it’s all a Seth Littrell issue? Blame the players for not executing, but whose job is it to make sure they know how to execute? If it were one or two guys, that’s on the players but when it’s every single player, that’s the OC
Thanks for posting this to youtube!
Someone has definitely forgot how to do something, following directions or making a coherent game plan 😅
😂
OU is an unserious program
🐂🐂🐂🐂💩💩💩💩💩💩💩!!!! Boycott Fake Rigged Scripted Sports or continue to be dumbfounded with these million and one unanswered questions...these Freemasons are lying, laughing and mocking you 🤥🤥🤥#BreadAndCircus #ProWrestling
Texas is paying more for players. if ou want to be on Texas level. There going have put up the cash. Hire new offense everything because what they are doing already going lose recruits
My favorite play was Bauer Sharp lead blocking and running through the hole like he was the ball carrier, while not blocking a soul
I've lived this before, Fans pointing out the obvious flaws, tapping into what they were led to Believe by a Gaslighting Coaching staff, as opposed to what their eyes are seeing, the Radio waves and internet full of theories that implicate nobody the coaches and anybody with a Financial stake in this program and the leader Bi-Polar Brent Venables simply staying stubborned and just pretending its just a part of his grand scheme !' STOP PROTECTING BRENT VENABLES !!! ! BRENT IS SUCKING 8 MILLION DOLLARS PER YEAR FOR THIS SHAMEFULL SHIT SHOW HE AND THIS JOKE OF A FOOTBALL TEAM ARE A DIRECT RESULT OF THE INCOMPETENTCY OF BRENT VENABLES
I get it we don’t have the personnel but pre season the OC and coach should have know blocking was an issue going back to the previous year. Having a fullback whose sole job is blocking should help. And while we ALL hate Tebow, at least those teams blocked!!! Jovante blocked and a few others but it is just too little too late.
The tight ends stink! The receivers stink! The OC stinks! We DO NOT BLOCK!
Did you see Sharp looking back at the QB instead of blocking the defender right in front of him? I saw that 3 times. It's difficult to register
I want the texas st oc
BV will lose the fan base no matter what come seasons end. He will have zero leash next season and will be fired by next years RRR. Book it.
9-2????? I would be ecstatic if we got 2 more wins and a bowl game (6-6)
The Jackson Arnold camp has prob told the staff he won't be going in again this year, to preserve his redshirt
Texas has better coaches (I think BV is still they guy - so far?), better players and a LOT more $$. If OU wants to compete in the SEC, they will have to attract a real OC and get more talent - basically, SHOW THEM THE MONEY because that is what Texas did, and OU failed to play the game....PERIOD!
Parker is right, firing Seth will not fix the problems this season, but it's not about fixing the problems this season, because this season is fucking over. The reason why you/Brent fire Seth is to prove he/Brent gives a fuck that his offense is the worst offense in college football. And to prepare everyone that you are on a full search for at least a new OC and maybe an entirely new Offensive staff. Which actually might have been the biggest problem in the first place, when BV first came in. Maybe everyone should have gone, and they started completely over. And who calls the plays in the meantime? Who fucking cares? Because Seth just does the same things over and over expecting a different outcome. Which is literally the definition of insanity. Brent needs to prove he's a Head Coach.
100 percent agree! It doesn’t matter who’s calling plays at this point. Almost anybody could call plays and produce 3 points against Texas. Brent should be thinking about future
We waited 9 months plus for this season!
