somehow I feel like I can relate to this in someway of myself when I told my mom that putting me in a religious group even with others like me meant putting on a mask to try and cover that side of myself that I didn't want others to know of before I start to trust them. I'm autistic and yeah sometimes I did feel like I was wearing a mask when I was meds for what my parents and doctor thought was ADHD when I went to school and when I was much younger. For me when I first found out that I have autism I was pretty much like Bandit, I pushed it away and didn't want to accept it until I did my own research on it through other autistic youtubers, even subbed to a few of them. It was about 4 years ago until I did finally accept that being autistic is what makes up me, like how Bandit hugged Trash at the end. I tried to word this right without it sounding stupid.
