Shore power is one of the electrical source in my ford transit. 15A or 30A? I'd say 30A even though you don't need it now but a good backup for the future. The installing should be done before insulation. #vanlife #vanconversion #fordtransit #vanbuild #canada #northamerica

Thanks for sharing. Love all of your videos! For the factory swivel seat, do you have to open the door to swivel? Can you move your seat forward to swivel without opening the door?

Hi Akans, thanks you for your interested in my channel, really appreciate it. Do you mean the bed frame or the van? If you use aluminum for the bed frame, it should be much stronger but you won't have the feeling of wood, lol. For the van, yes, I am planning to use aluminum from 80/20 as the framing. I am planning to use 1" profile, the cost might be $2000-3000? Haven't estimated that.
