    Are you saying that Jesus is not the Firstborn of All Creation as Paul wrote to the Colossians? And not the Firstborn from Dead? Are you saying Paul just gave these tiles because Jesus is to have first place in everything? Maybe Paul didn’t understand what firstborn meant? Or maybe the Last Adam is the Firstborn of all creation just as the First Adam was the first human created with unblemished blood and the Last Adam was the born with unblemished blood. Jesus is also called the Second man and not First man. Maybe Paul forgot what he said in Col 1:15-18. The blood is what ties everything together. First Adam (creation) - Virgin Birth-Last Adam (new creation) Death and the resurrection. Blood/ Life/God are synonymous. God’s Unchangeable Word is amazing

    I wish this was taught more in the church building. I find it to be of priority but not many hold dear to this command. Applying this teaching literally changed my life and gave purpose and meaning to my every day duties, also it taught me to seek ways to better serve those around me: home, work, outside, church gathering. Im literally on a mission seeking you tube videos who cover this chapter. Thank you for doing so, God bless you.

    The connection between circumcision and water baptism is summed up by the term remission of sins. Peter said to "Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and you shall recieve the gift of the Holy Spirit"( Acts 2:38). Water baptism completes repentance. Repentance must be demonstrated by water baptism to be considered by God as genuine. During water baptism, because of the shed blood of Christ, the Holy Spirit circumcises our conscience, removing the guilt from past sins, and restoring it to its original childlike innocence from wilful sins. This is the " washing of regeneration" of Titus 3:5. Regeneration defined means to return something to its original state. The original state of our conscience was that of an innocent child. This is the new covenants antitype of the old covenants cleansing of the temple, with water and blood, in preparation for the Spirit of God to occupy it. The writer states though that the blood of bulls was ineffective in dealing with " consciousness of sins". Consciousness of sins is guilt. The animal sacrifices could only cover, temporarily the guilt not remove it entirely. Thus the Spirit of God could only dwell in the temple temporarily. Because of the shed blood of Christ, the guilt is removed entirely during water baptism so that the Holy Spirit can dwell in the body " temple" of the believer permanently.

      @BodyandMindfulness For now I rejoice in my passion on your behalf, and I complete in my flesh the things that are LACKING in the Passion of Christ, for the sake of his body, which is the Church. Colossians 1:24 If your verse says BEHIND then it's been changed. Original Greek text says LACKING.

      @DUZCO10 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @BodyandMindfulness yes in a way, hes highlighting the privilege and responsibility he feels in sufffering for the sake of the Church, which is the body of Christ. Paul sees his suffering as a way of participating in Christ's redemptive work and contributing to the growth and well-being of the Church. Redemptive suffering is powerful of you know for to use it

    I'm not getting this guy's explanation on the finger motion for #9 but I saw another video where they did that and put the hand with 4 fingers down and the thumb under it while holding up the other hand, so you can pretend the covered thumb is a Bible and make like you're swearing in court since you don't bear false witness in court. I like the explanation on #4, the thumb is RESTING, taking a nap, that's so clever, much better than making a church with 4 fingers (shown on multiple other videos) since we don't worship on Saturdays anyway, and Sabbath is Saturday.

The scripture I felt lead by the Holy Spirit was just this, Colossians 2:6-7. I was overwhelmed with the powerful words in these verses. I am thankful for the opportunity to deliver a message. I hope and pray that it encourages and fuels desires for the Lord as it did for me hearing what Paul wrote from a prison to people he never met and a place he never been. The Jews were in covenant with God… we have a better covenant. We have an advocate in Christ if we sin. Everything you’re talking about is referring to the Jews and warning them of the very unbelief that is described in psalm 95. This is not a message to believers that take part in the new covenant. It is warning of some who may not actually believe.

    • @IreneLove-s1c

  • @JonathanGrandt
    @JonathanGrandt ปีที่แล้ว

    Note: evil, unbelieving is a two-fold description of the heart that CAUSES one to fall away from the Living God. Not from Jesus Christ or from salvation… but the unbelieving heart does not believe Jesus Christ to be the Son of the Living God, thus the Jew who shared in a Covenant would fall away. It is the unbelieving heart that comes before the ultimate falling away from God, the source of Life. Notice also that it says “we HAVE COME to share in Christ IF indeed we hold firmly to the confidence…” So… The Jewish community of professing believers is being told, “make sure none among you have this unbelieving heart”, the heart that denies Christ is sent of God… “this heart that LEADS you to fall AWAY” to fall away from the one true God, from whom all life comes. Jewish professing Christians: the unbelieving heart is evil. It will cause you to fall Away from Yahweh. If we hold fast to the end then we have shared in Christ.

  • @JonathanGrandt
    @JonathanGrandt ปีที่แล้ว

    Note: Paul refers to the unbelieving Jews as his brothers. Acts 28:17-22 And again in Romans 9:3 Same word used for brothers or brethren. Calling someone “brother” absolutely does not mean that person is a believer.
