This is probably why Sam never appeared on Alex Bennett's show. Bobcat was a regular, so I'm sure Sam or Alex put the kibosh on that.

Sam was brilliant in the beginning, but he succumbed to all the excesses and pitfalls of the rock and roll lifestyle. Bobcat was great too. In their prime, comparisons are easy, but they were two different cats.

Sam was talentless, anyone could have done what he did. He's just a wannbee preacher turned drug addicted alcoholic, plain and simple. Andrew Dice Clay has more talent in one pinky nail then Sam ever had. Did I get amused with some of Sam's bits, sure but to think this guy created anything or had any comedic talent is higher then Sam was everyday. Your uncle or Dad can be the exact version of Sam, don't see anyone giving them an award or money in their bank account. He was a dime a dozen and that's the hard facts. Guy's like Robbin William's, Richard Pryor, Lenny Bruce, Steven Wright, Bill Hicks, George Carlin, Louis C.K are comedic geniuses ✌🏻♥️

Man, Sam Kinnison comes off bad in this video. He sounds insecure and petty. Also, for someone who trashed a lot of people he sure is upset about a few comments by a fellow comedian.

The fake voice and fake persona is a device comedians use to protect themselves. No matter what a heckler or assailant says or does against them, it doesn't matter, because that's not really them. It's a weird form of extroverted disassociation. Bobcat grew out of that and has become more transparent. So let it slide. I don't know of any other comedian who has come more out of the closet about what show biz is really like than him.

A great, GREAT movie! Found it a couple of years ago while searching for this genius of an artist that was Adrienne Shelly... I couldn't have predicted that it was exactly the movie I needed to see! Let's just say the main male character & I shared the same heartbreak/depression, so it was cathartic to laugh at myself like that! (personally, I would've love to have Ally Sheedy's character in my life from the get go) Too bad there's no a soundtrack available, if only for the Adrienne Shelly-penned, David Johansen song "The Bastard Song", which to my knowledge never was released ever (if someone knows where to find it, please tell us). Thank you so much for uploading this 🙏🙏🙏

OK aside from all the drama of both Dillin Thomas and Jessepajamas, I just want to say, I read the whole story and listen to the whole parts by Jesse, and I feel like there was a missed opportunity to Say that the story was pro-specism (animal racism) and anti-mixed species, because Sally dies from childbirth and the child she gave birth to also dies was a mixed species of a ground squirrel and hedgehog and later on Amy gets pregnant with sonics twins and basically they’re pure hedgehog
