Follow through the cue ball helps a lot also
The girl in the background keeps her head eerily still
Cut in the corner or bank in the corner but that last shot Idk how to make rn
Pushing the cue through is the most important part as you could do all that but if you don't push the cue through that's all irrelevant
Well said, I agree, is how you go thru with it, some people use different angles but if u don’t go thru it, it won’t give you the best results, am still learning but I agree
You still struggle we all do
What happened to follow through
First shot did not require any draw whatsoever........
Thhose that get a scoop jump dont hit the cue ball so hard just follow through rule of thumb also only go one tip lower than crnter or sid english that will help a lot to advoid miscues
How about the pool tip
If you break a tip off and don't really know how to put it back on, take it to a billiard store(if there's one in your town)they'll know how to put it on so it will stay on for a long time.
@everettcox-m8i i use bar pool sticks and tried rounding the edge with no luck tips are a problem bigger factor than technique
A soft tip gives more English but less accuracy. Is suggest starting with a medium hardness and if you are miscueing a lot go to a soft tip then as you get better try the medium again. By then you will know if you would like to go back to the soft tip, stay at medium or try the medium hard to hard tips. There are a lot of tips out there just make sure it's a decent one not a generic one.
How do you prevent the ball from jumping up if you hold the keu so close to level?
Practice practice practice that's how I learned how to use reverse cue. This man is telling you how to use low cue the right way.
I've been shooting pool since I was a teenager. I can draw a ball from the end rail all the way back to where I shot the ball.
Very nice demo clip, thanks.
I can't wait to try this
I'll actually try the golf T's.. thanks.
Golf T's is a brilliant idea!
Step 1. Get a snooker cue. Done
😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
How did you not mention follow through?
My exact thought
Why didn't it count?
Closed bridge 💯
Lol. Not true
Follow through
easy with this table
That thing sucks with its ridiculous side pockets
The main things people do wrong and swear they don't are these. Be honest with yourself when reading this or film yourself. 1. Dropping should or Elbow raising the tip up to center ball at the last moment. 2. Poor transition. Nice pre strokes and then a short Jerky stroke 3. No follow through. Have to finish stroke. Don't need to add follow through just finish the stroke. 4. Tightening grip before impact which will cause the tip to dip dramatically. Leads to scooping cueball 5. Cue ahead of 90° before impact. If you do this and do not drop elbow the tip will dip before impact.
Your last shot proves you are a bad teacher, plus you gave a little misinfo about how to grip the cue and skipped very important steps...
Dude, what?
12% of my draws end up being scoop jumps. Maybe the loose grip will help 🤷♂️
no. move your non bridge hand BACK a little. it's kind of normal for people to "choke up" ... then.. likely you are dropping the tip at impact causing the scoop course it could be your grip too... or both
@@robertmiller4217Wrong...
Dude from video is a bad teacher and his final shot proves it. The main advice I d give you is: go level and low as he said, but don't listen him about the grip. Everybody holds the cue differently. Practice close shots. Your bridge hand shouldn't be more then 20 cm from a cue ball, better little less. Let the cue sit on your palm, relax and slow it all. Let the cue hit a ball itself and most importantly go straight threw with the cue tip. Relax, easy, slowly, let the cue tip threw in the line of shot. Then slowly try longer shot. You are welcome.
@@noegojimmy don't listen to him about the grip? it's one of the main points!! LOL @ "your welcome" ohhhhhh lord of billiards THANK YOU FOR YOUR WISDOM. wow dude
@@robertmiller4217 Lol... You gave completely wring advice for the scooping issue and couldn't explain a thing. Going threw with a cue tip, following the path of the shot is the key and letting the wood hit itself without you forcing anything. You advised to move bridge hand back lol...🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Dr. Dave says you don't need to be level
You Forgot the most important things The the table should be perfect and new and the cue also
Lol that is helpful but NOT the most important...
Is this targeted for new players or experienced ones? There are other things you need to master or be consistent with such as staying still, not moving your bridge hand, timing, follow through, and so on while applying these 3 techniques. Good info but missing loads of other important information
@@Greenhorn88 Mostly targeting beginners
This is for no one. Very bad lesson.
Imo a beginner shouldn’t even be messing with side spin. Work on potting first maybe experiment with top spin if anything. And like you said staying still and timing need to be focused on first.
@@orangewithdreams2774 Side spin wasn't mentioned but I agree with you. Practising straight shots is the most important for beginners and learning hitting cue ball in the middle. I used to practice only with cue ball up and down the table, go threw ball, freeze the cue and wait for the white to come back straight to top of the cue. Very hard to do consistently...
@@MagicMikeBilliards beginners should learn center ball hit, tangent lines whilst focussing on good fundamentals. Drawing ball is probably one of the hardest thing to control and even pros avoid it if they can. Following the ball is better for beginners. Drawing ball looks cool, but you should try to be in the position to follow on the next shot rather than draw.
yo hice ese tiro con un amigo de mi abuelo, pero nosotros lo hacíamos más difícil, se supone que lo común es hacerlo con la bola blanca desde atrás, o sea pegada a la banda
Well obviously I'm not gonna hit the fucking top of the ball if I'm trying to get backspin
@@doritozman5419 true. earl the pearl agrees
+ Follow through
This tapping is unnecessary. I’m just an amateur player, but this trick usually only takes me like 5 tries
1 & 3 for sure
Then follow through my ass
The last one wasn't a draw shot
it was though?
Pretty sure I came across your TikTok Live not to long ago I asked you about CIT
@@Itsmebotch I think you may have and yes CIT is a real thing and something you have to compensate for especially at slower speeds
@ It’s you “Michael French” didn’t know you had a TH-cam and you did an awesome job explaining on the live I remember thanks a lot🤟 New subscriber
@ Thanks my man I appreciate it! 💪🏻😎
It’s all about timing not power
Instructions unclear, I now have a broken window.
😂
Bro the cue ball shoots into orbit when I do that😭
@@LuciusNiesen 😂
Be sure to hit with the top of your tip rather than the middle, that's the key to going lower
Need to work on the timing. Follow through and cue smooth
loosen your grip and level your cue
The most helpful tip i got is, just let your cue go through the white ball. don't retract the cue after hitting the white ball
Like si viste que e se Hiba a meter la blanca
Por la poca fuerza se iba a frenar
Wow. That was very nice.
Magkano yan akinnalang
Personally I'd attempt to bank it since thats what I have the most success with
I see, divided by 2. Does it applied to any tabble?
th-cam.com/video/nV8y0bun7-o/w-d-xo.html
عالی بود👏🏻
1 is the only foul. 3 is a foul if the ball is frozen to the rail, but it looks like it's not in this case.
I would.. make a huge blunder and hit it in a good position for the other player lol
Three rails to the side. ALWAYS. it's a high percentage shot for me, because I've practiced it and played it so much.
Horrible advice
