    Really? Who cares what color they are dingbat. Different people have different experiences that has nothing to do with their immutable characteristics. I think all of the stuff is going to change really soon. Judging someone's experience is by the color of their skin is kind of strange nowadays

    I am so excited to have landed on your video this morning. My husband and I are black RVers since 2018, he is over 70 and I am 65 about to retire. We love camping in our RV and particularly at State parks and other places in nature. I am not much on the party camping scenes like so many other black groups participate, but I love to see other states, parks and sitting around a campfire with friends or strangers. I started an embroidery business and the name is Movin and Makin Impressions, because my plan is to travel and provide custom embroidery whether on the road or not. I have sufficient machines to produce on the go. It is awesome and I am growing my business in it's second year. Looking forward to more videos from you, and I do hope you address my concern that in this current political climate and rampant hatred do I need to limit my travel. It's a little scary. Before 2024, we have never felt uncomfortable camping, as a matter of fact we have camped from Virginia to Texas with no incidences. Thanks so much for your mission.

    We will travel to foreign countries for adventures but there are so many thing that you can see here. I am on my second RV. I have been to RV parks and been the only black person there. The most I have every seen was three families. I love this idea.

    Been car/tent camping for over 30 years. I'll be starting part-time solo vanlife in a few weeks. My immediate family is incredibly supportive of the nomad life I've lived but I've definitely been on the receiving end of fear-filled comments from black friends and extended family. I heard the same when I chose to live abroad and travel solo so I just keep taking those leaps. 😂 Love the work that you're doing and look forward to seeing ya'll out there!

    Why does camping have to be about race, doesn’t matter what color you are as long as you enjoy the outdoors and not destroy and trash the areas we are camping in or at.

    I am raised in the country so going into woods is not new for me, but camping and all of that never interested me at all. I have a brother who enjoys the woods (nature) it's not for everybody for those who enjoy nature (as they called it ) go for it and enjoy it. I like Hyatt, Wyndham etc LOL am an indoor type of person. Nice video and good information.

    My fellow Black camper, you named 3 reasons why Black people don't camp or more specifically, why Black people aren't Rv'ing. Fear is not the main reason. The main reason is a lack of resources. Many of us don't have generational wealth, inheritance or enough support inside or outside of our community to have a budget with enough discretionary spending to buy a Recreational vehicle that costs tens of thousands of dollars. I also know from personal experience that Rv's depreciate rapidly and they aren't made to stand the test of time, which leads to additional expense as the Rv ages.

    • @BtheShaman_007
      @BtheShaman_007 9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      NOPE... It's not resources. The average American makes 52,000 a year. Blacks consume more than any other race. Expensive tennis shoes, expensive high-end designer clothes, expensive hair weaves, expensive makeup, expensive jewelry, expensive cars.... It has nothing to do with generational wealth or resources.. it's the fact that black people are urbanized. It's the fact that black families typically don't have a father in the house. It's the fact that 80% of black children are raised by their mother. How many mothers do you know go out camping?? It's no one else's fault other than our own. Accountability needs to be taken.

    • @BtheShaman_007
      @BtheShaman_007 9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      This Comment that lets me know that you haven't been outside of your community. You act like white people have generational wealth. White people are financially and economically struggling just like everybody else. Go outside of your circle. If all your friends are the same race, then you have a problem. The victim mindset needs to be stopped.

    • @BtheShaman_007
      @BtheShaman_007 9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Nope, I'm not going to allow you to deflect and put this on someone else. You need a community that's built on the nuclear family. You need a community that's built on fathers. 97% of black women voted for Kamala Harris, and over 80% of men. They voted for a person that's going to keep them broke and they voted for a person that is anti-nuclear family...

    I was raised in the woods, small town in north Mississippi. We grew what we ate and hunted. Literally we came out of the mud and red clay. Today, I am a professional and constantly seek to escape the pavement. I camp and utv. I also overland a small bit. I would like to be a part of this community. I have many friends that have camped with me, unfortunately not like myself. It's OK, but I wish more of us could embrace this instead of the unhealthy lifestyles we live or find rejuvenation in the nature around us. Learning to overcome fears has been my life journey. Wanting to enjoy this earth before I am too old. Please excuse my book, lol. The video inspired me.
