An excellent tutorial video. Thanks bro ❤
That’s actually a voodoo hitch (or travelers hitch). A poldo tackle is similar, but not the same.
Thank you! I’m new, and this is by far the easiest demo I have seen on the double Munter hitch!!!!!👊👊👊👊👊
Super explanation, thanks!
Some thing to do is Tesla Sultan
Who is Barack Obama I have to deal with a break Bharat
wow, best way to make a double munter i have ever seen, thank you !!!!!
I was asking google how to do the hand thingy. And then thsi ahahaha
Just keep in consideration is using the quick release links that Skedco has available. That way in case anything goes wrong, you may detach the tagline from the stretcher. And the option of attaching your tagline to the feet of the stretcher that way you are not generating forces to side of the stretcher as if you were trying to open it.
not that I have any experience with using these, but doesn't the guide bar look really worn already? it looks like a pretty deep dent. and when looking at it from the side it doesn't look too thick of a diameter, I'd imagine it would wear soon... nice video explaining the whole thing nevertheless, thanks.
That dent is deliberate it’s there to guide the rope over that point so it has a lower chance of sliding to the side and wearing on the frame of the rack

Could you explain how to tie the double loop anchor
What is the knot used in the webbing for the two loop anchor?
In what kind of situation would you use this? Compared to using a normal repel?
Something about it doesn’t seem right. I’m not the expert, but it looks different than a bowline.
At 0:27, if you just go behind and around the “tree”, and back down thru the “hole”, maybe? I’m not sure...
Very interesting way. Thanks.
Nice demonstration. You finished with a half-hitch and an overhand safety, which is frequently used for the radium release. A mule is a different knot.
Thanks for the help sir, these videos are really helping me prepare for PJOC
hi interesting video, is it safe enough to do climbing using 8mm rope?

I appreciate your method. I have examined the bowline and as far as I am concerned the bowline is the overhand or underhand with bight. Your method should be taught as a simple alternative to learning the bowline. Thank for your demonstration
What harness is that??? Please answer and how much
Munther?
Yeah, he should have fixed the title ... at least he pronounces it correctly. The troubling part is he mis-ties the Mule ... instead just ties a half hitch with a bight of rope ... not a mule, which is a slipped loop that captures both the load line and working line ... but, generally, it will work well enough.

Thanks Ken! Reviewed this today!
How is he supposed to rig the basket and tie the knots without his hands?
that thing looks so complicated compared to petzl stop and simple desender...
Check out the MPD by CMC Rescue. It's insanely simple.
Where the brake rack rally shines is in caving when you're dealing with muddy ropes, it won't clog up with mud like a petzl mechanical descender
That cord looks like it handles beautifully. A well worn cord gives a great deal of credit to your lesson. Thanks.
Beautifully done! The clearest instructions! Thank you!
I like your vids but can you put a brief description on what these knots can be used for?
When you said form a loop you didn't really form the proper loop, looks a little dangerous. I'm sure it's safe, just not what I'm used too. Great video, thanks for posting!
Awesome demo. Thanks for the upload.
i am skeptical of this metal thingies. there should be at least some things that this can do that can not be achieved with a knot
Well, it doesn't kink the rope like a munter, and you don't have to worry about melting through it like a prussik.
@@Ammoniummetavanadate and they're great for dirty muddy environments (aka caving) which would just clog a grigri style belay device
great video! simple and easy to understand
Dude, keep ypur hands out of the video. it almost the same as taking a picture of your finger. Otherwise awesome technique.
Thank you!
This is also called the "elbow meathod" the double twist is called an elbow in several text.
