This song has been in my heart since I was in middle school. I’m going to be 45 on Tuesday. That’s how long I have been looking for this version of this song. I remember this playing early in the morning on the school bus on the way to school and I always loved it . ❤❤❤Thank you and Thank God for allow me to find this .

OMGOSH. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS POST. My fav part is how the director leads the individual parts into the round. MESMERIZING!! The Tenors held the Whole Song together just singing "You ought to been there" And she Led that song yall 🤩😇 I used to have this on a CD I lost long ago. I remember listening to this on my Walkman back in 2001. Our back gate used to open into the field of a school. My husband ( at the time)had it built that way. I was seeking God so I hit repeat and Danced in open fields for hours in Weekends. The sound is elegant!!!

I lost custody of my babies because of being homeless and unemployed. GOD gave me a state prison job a home large enough to accommodate me and 3 kids. I know when I go back to court I'm going to wim. When I was a kid, my pastor's oldest daughter led this song and while I no longer think the song is about not being able to hold a secret and you have to gossip, I still enjoy it so much.
