Absolutely fabulous what some extremely helpful DIY people upload to TH-cam. I got MF 135 Perkins myself. Extremely helpful and highly valued videos. Easily the best small two wheel drive tractor to this day. Extremely durable and reliable and about as easy to repair and service as can be. Pretty much all parts available at reasonable prices. Most sold tractor model on planet earth. Pretty much identical (6+2 gearbox) to 35, except direct injection head and diff lock. True gem. Price only goes up. So, THANK YOU and your kin (Bundy Bears Shed etc.).

You need to rotate the front flange plate it's set up for a left hand side fitment .

I'm hoping to get the wheel off mine to do this job. I have been living with it for over 20 years with a vertical play that must be about 3mm. I have ordered a puller that is heavy enough to be kill or cure and have been feeding the taper with plusgass and heat on a daily basis for a couple of weeks. Even though the wheel is very tatty and almost down to the metal frame all over I want to avoid using a new one if I can. Edited to update. The puller turned up and 10 minutes later the wheel was off. £60 well spent! Followed your scheme on adjustment and I reckon the play in the box is now less than in the track rod ends so I'm happy. Thanks!

Daz Most of them never had the oil changed My family had a major and I would say back end no oil change for like 40 years Fun fact in Australia most of the wheel seals leaked ,they worked them a lot harder,once met an old bloke and he told me that the wee Fergie that we were looking at had done over 10;000 hours in like 3 years Big paddocks here

Thank you Daz brilliant Worked on them 50 years ago In lovely Laois , and now trying to work out the Brakes on a TEF Diesel here in Western Australia Never had a lot of trouble with the brakes on the TVO we had in ireland,but this one is giving me the proverbial as Drums and shoes ok but can’t yet get a brake on the main pedal Thanks again going to keep watching and might reinitiate the old brain

I have a TEF with a original front loader, and not the dinky one, but reinforced with the dump mechanism still on it 😁 Don't know why they fitted it to this tractor, since it can't really lift much 🤣

hello Daz , great work as always , im following your series step by step , just wondering if you know is it possible to get replacement " adjuster window flaps " for the rear of the backing plate ? both of mine are rusted out and i cant seem to find any replacements online .

Many years ago, some 55 plus years, my old Dad had a mate who was employed as a Groundsman of a playing field and lived on site with family in the provided house. Anyway, the mate had a MK2 zodiac automatic and was taking his family on holiday to Cornwall. To reduce the cost of fuel, he filled the petrol tank with TVO plus took 4 Jerry cans of it in the boot of the over crowded car. One day he phoned my dad asking why does his car not go up the steep hills of the old roads back then. LOL. My Dad did laugh, telling him to mix TVO with the then 5-star petrol. -The memories of TVO have remained ever since. Oh the mate blew his engine up on the way home after his holiday.
