Can you please put 10 kg of luggage in the back to test normal acceleration Especially going uphill?
Very nice riding, went there last week on my streetfighter converted SV650S, just wish I found about this road sooner before winter, now watching a bunch of videos to study the road lol
i cracked my rim badly jumping a gutter, they arent the best rim thats for sure
can you just trhotlr without pedaling
You're insane if you want a relatively flimsy set up like yours to be capable of 50mph. These bikes were never designed for such extremes. Just stick to 30 max; that's already at the upper limit of safety and you stand less chance of PC Plod sniffing around for things they can impound then crush.😅
Probably a good idea to stick to back roads and English country side. I know how much your British UK police (im Canadian are cops dont really care) have a hard on for sticking it to illegal ebike riders. Best to stay under the rader with these things.
Think I'm going mad I swear I just saw this for sale on ebay
Should consider upgrading to a 52V, the difference is night and day.
I’m considering Bufang for my long tail cargo bike to transport kids. Its a Surly. These sounded appeasing for cheap, there’s a used kit for $120, well.. still on package, I don’t want Junk, though?

This was really useful! Thanks man
Not following what you are trying to do. You have to sit on the saddle so the back tire has a good grip on the ground. Otherwise, it's going to spin like this. This motor is powerful.
You should consider getting a motorbike, if you travel on quiet 50mph roads because it will handle better than any ebike at those speeds and has better brakes. Great vid 👍🏽
No insurance, no gas, no registration… lower maintenance
Nice very funny 👍🏽
Chinese crap !!Working on my 3rd kit that doesn't work right 🤬Guess things have changed in 2 years cause they suck now..!🤷♂️
After 10 years of ebikes I've returned to leg power ,I'm so much happier 🤟💯🤠 aged 55
Why?
@@flosa1995 I like the fitness part ,I never got tired on my ebike or broke a sweat 😓
@@ianmangham4570 That makes a lot of sense! Different mindset between sports and commuting I combated that by enabling both PAS and throttle, using the throttle to speed up and then fighting against slowing down until I couldnt anymore Makes for a great workout that way But it of course takes away the simplicity of riding a bicycle
@@ianmangham4570u could have just pedalled and kept the electric part as a backup if chain broke or laziness kicked in

how do u do one
How much range? 50? 15? 50th?
Hi wondering if you can help me I have the same kit on mine as soon as it goes over about 30mph the motor starts vibrating every time I built one a few years ago and don’t think that one did it it doesn’t do it if you lift the back wheel up and test at full throttle just when your riding it. Do you know if yours does the same? Thanks
sounds like it's slightly out of alignment. the faster you spin it, the more the vibration will become apparent. Maybe take it to a bike shop and ask them to true it up by adjusting the spoke tension? Not sure, but sounds like that kinda thing.
I'll tell you a trick for off road longevity on your back wheel. Big tires anywhere from 2.25 to 2.6. The bigger the better and the thicker the better. This trick will prevent damage to your rear wheels and make them last longer. I tested this for over 15 years and it never fails to save a back wheel from damage.
@@atmoreguitt5902 Also cancels out Torque
What range are you getting from a full charge?
I know this is late but I have a 13 ah battery from Yose Power I just bought for $230 to go with this kit and the range is about 30-40 miles I think but I haven’t used a full charge yet just like 25 miles and it was still going
𝕡𝐫o𝕄o𝔰𝓶 😌
Will it work if you don't have the wheel sensor and safety breaks connected
Hi there ..just checking…are you openly declaring you do 30 mph on open roads ! Could that declaration not be used against you or am I missing something 🤔
Great review can you get a new wheel if your hub motor is still in condition can you put the old hub motor in a new rim i mean my wheel has done the same as yours
well my standard tyre went flat today, got nearly 1000 miles on it, but its totally bald
With the 💣s
I bought a front wheel 1000w Voilamart kit off eBay nearly 3 yrs ago, have used it most days since then for my commute to work & performs faultlessly. Was £115 at the time , they are now double that , I paid £200 for a decent battery & that has performed well & still holds charge as good as the day I fitted it, the only thing I regularly replace is brake blocks as they soon wear out going from 30+ mph quickly down to zero 🤣
try to invest on metalic brake pad that don't wear as fast as organic brake pads
Is the kit still active 1 year after this comment
@@e.huss1 yes the kit has gone a lot cheaper

Can you use this kit without disc brakes?
I have the same kit put it on my friends bike so I would have someone to ride with and his bike doesn’t have disc nor does it have the holes for them and as long as the rim brakes are tight and in good shape you should have no problem as he can do about 30mph and still has decent stopping power
Hey what’s the name of ur front forks i love that bigger look
Yeah I like them to, did you find them by any chance?

Hi, i have carerra fury 27 speed, will the 7 gear rear 1000w hub motor work OK as mine has 9 cogs on the rear?
I could only fit 7 gears on the back

My motor broke down after 170 miles sensor had to be reset 3 times. My so called motor was the 1000 watt. When it does run it is a fun trip. Don't know where to get it repaired. Advice would be appreciated. Thanks
i have the same set up . do it go up hills?
Mate change that cracked rim asap.... your gonna get major injuries if it comes to failure while riding!!!
500w geared hub is a 3rd the weight, you can pedal it like a normal bike and it will go up to 1500w.
But it's weaker than a broken toilet seat.
@@realestatestudent213 48n.m torque! these 1000w direct drives only have 35n.m
Build a 1000w front motor - heavy, useless piece of shit. Now making 500w geared backwheel. Probably will work for me.
I purchased a kit from Hallomotor. It’s a 20 inch 48v 1000w But for some reason the guy says max speed is 28mph. I assume it could do more.
That might be for legal reasons. You can’t go above 28mph for us ebike laws. If you can set the wheels smaller than they actually are you could get over that limit.
@@ruzzcraze1862 sounds like fun. Id only ride at those speeds when i know its safe. other than that id just cruise at the legal speed limit
@@ripp3rjak934 yeah. 45kmh/28mph feels very fast. Tho faster is fun.
@@ruzzcraze1862 but the question is.. can my kit do more than 28mph? the controller is programmable with bluetooth. It has access to even 52v it says. But unfortunately my wheel hub can only go as fast as the 1000w will allow it
@@ripp3rjak934 probably
I have a 1500w wheel with a 60v 30ah battery and a 2000w controller . Ive done over 1,300km and when its fully charged it does 60kph . My spokes have come a little loose also but overall its pretty good for the price . I also have a bbshd running 3,200w on a 52v 25ah battery but i actually like the hub motor better because it doesnt run through the chain and sprockets .
Yeah hubs all the way I'm with you! Yes I know mid produce better torque for hill climbing, Are far better at technical climbs, More efficient etc.. But I don't care because I just cruise baby! And hubs do it much better with far less ware n tare or fuss :)

And can get points on your driving license. So be careful, or stick to 250w 15.5mph limit
