Is there another game with these brothers? I can remember the game I played, there were also 2 brothers but I'm not sure if it is this one...

OK so a lot of the bosses in MSX Golvellius seem too easy, but Golvellius himself is obviously unfinished, so Compile released an unfinished game with a super weak final boss. Golvellius has to be the hardest boss, as he should be, in the SMS game, when he's not spitting a stream of fire, he's slashing his swords all around him and is hard to dodge and counter attack. If you fix Golvellius, it's a decent MSX game I think, I don't mind the crude graphics as there's a certain charm about it. Because the SMS game has a mostly completely new overworld, you can enjoy both versions. P.S. I watched another video of MSX Golvellius, I see that he does do his lunging scissor slash move, but apparently only lunges forward, when you're in front of him. Sega corrected that problem, he can lunging in any direction while scissoring and change direction as he pleases, you have to dodge and counter attack otherwise you'll die for sure.

Where is an english patch available? O_O 😮

for those of you who dont know, at the time, south korean laws allowed zemina to make copyright infringing games, and obviously because of the limitted hardware of the msx the scrolling isnt the best they also made this game on the sega master system too, which is a direct port of this and mentioned above further proves that this was first and the sms version came after

One of the best games on the MSX. I used to own Atari 130xe and thought I had the best computer in our neighborhood. Then my neighbor friend invited me over to show his msx1 computer. The first game I played was knightmare and was absolutely blown away. That's when I have decided to buy msx2 computer later on.

What?!? That part at 52:45 is fixed in the enhanced version? I swear if you jump over that falling platform, I get killed for whatever reason even if I didn't touch that cursed falling platform! Other than that, its still an awesome game!

I find the game a little too complicated towards the end, we don't know where to go.

This "tutorial" is useless. Anyone with rudimentary knowledge of running PC applications can get to this point using their windows knowledge alone. What I'd like is something that explains the more esoteric parts of the emulator which are not easy to understand. Things like, creating a hard drive or making 9000 graphics work. Things that are specific to the emulator, that knowing PCs and knowing MSX doesn't help with, because it's specific to the emulator. Instead this tutorial only deals with the part of the Windows side of getting the emulator set up that people could easily figure out on their own. Sorry if I seem overly critical, but I just wasted my time going over things that were so obvious I had already done them, only for the tutorial to end right at the point where it could be useful.☹ As it stands, I'm going to have to give up on OpenMSX because all of the documentation of how to use the advanced features is outdated, missing or incomprehensible. I guess the information is probably out there somewhere, but it's too painful to find. This is despite the fact that I have decades of experience using both MSX and PC platforms. It's a shame to see that what seems to be a good emulator is rendered useless by the "if you don't know, you don't deserve to know" attitude.
