    These SJ questions are totally subjective, in my view. None of the answers addresses the key problem in this scenario, which is Delilah's difficulties with the course workload. She should seek extra help with the work. If she can't get that, then she should stick it out and hope things get better, that's what I did when I was a student and was having similar problems. (things got better for me). If it doesn't get any better then dropping out of the course might be the best option. This isn't like numerical or verbal reasoning tests where there is a right and wrong answer.

    nah for verbal reasoning he really helped me improve. The key thing is how he eliminates 2 statements and focuses on 2 statements. this helped imrprove my score from 600 to 800. i think his attitude is very important. he seems to be enthuisiastic and optomistic and sees this enjoyable like a game rather then a chore. so change your attitude :)

      Revisit the questions that you got wrong and see whether they are similar in topic. E.g. in DM I realised that I’ve been getting probability questions wrong or panicking when I see them. So I focused on the feedback (I used Medify) and memorised the working. So to put it in short hone in the questions you get wrong

    Next time repeat the question of the mumbling student. Thank you. 4:20 decide per bottom square set a, or b, or neither, or both which is neither. checking for positive a is not enough. The recurring advice is to gamble on first 2 questions of a category. to save time for the rest. 16:11 you see top is all white, but 3 black in options. So options are ABC, but why. -> there must be a movement in the black -> then heart goes up/down. but why is A wrong and B correct? All points to A. it's because inverting from white to black swaps it. The arrow change rotates 180 degrees, so you say the trapezoid is mirrored. That logic is just incorrect. So now I also need to take into account the IQ of the guys making these puzzles. 25:51 there's another pattern, presence of Z. That makes it Neither Neither A A. So tell my why your pattern is more valid than mine. 32:00 not 40, at least 67 probably 100. Impossible to remember the patterns. 38:31 but both shapes are concave, and the circle is convex.

      "For example, cystic fibrosis....", what is it an example off??? Read the line above. Since it's discussing Genetic disorders therefore cystic fibrosis is an example of that. It then further specifies it as a common recessive disorder, however it is still an example of a genetic disorder.

    • @avanzjp6831
      @avanzjp6831 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree, and same for me as well, VR was my lowest on medify practice questions and it was also the section I performed the worst when I sat my actual UCAT just three hours ago haha... But one thing I thought is that medify VR practice questions can have extremely long texts (like 700 words when in the actual test I think it was around 200-300 words) which will end up with you running out of time easily. So, I think for Verbal Reasoning questions, it might be better for you to take a look at practice questions on the official UCAT website or to take a look at Verbal Reasoning questions on the full 2 hour mock test on medify if you want to actually simulate the questions with time limit (those two sources have Verbal Reasoning questions very similar to the ones you see in the actual test in my opinion). But UCAT VR questions of the "practice" section of medify can still be very useful for improving your text related skills! (like improving reading speed, how fast you can catch important information etc)
