Sorry to hear about this. We had a great time and thought we had a great value for what we paid. Did anything change?

@@richiefromboston paid 1875$ US a night.. basic food basic rooms.. service was embarrassment. Stole money from my room also. After I gave them a tip. That did not include flights. Had to bribe them to get service.

Wow totally not the experience we had. I know prices are way up all around but we had great service while we were there.

Your welcome, I think they may be closing down in the near future for some renovations. I hope the price stays fair. The resort needed a little love in some areas but we all found the value we got was great. All 12 people want to go back!

We were there Nov 19th-Nov 26th. Rumor has it that some renovations are coming next year. We found everything to be usable. There was damage to front wall from storm but didn't mess with our plans at all. Hotel threw in alot of added things to make up for that small inconvenience of wall and appearance.

@@richiefromboston Dangerous decking, disgusting sun beds, hairdryers falling off walls exposing the live wires, exploding solar heating systems, no hot water for several days, roof tiles falling off, guttering collapsing, food contaminated with flies, - need I go on. I haven’t mentioned the digger- you got lucky there. Please consider the people paying thousands of pounds to visit this hotel when you post a video which glosses over the obvious inadequacies of a very poor hotel. You made it seem acceptable which it certainly is not. I have photographic evidence to substantiate the facts which I have highlighted. Virgin , eventually, moved us out. Many people we met had also asked to be moved.

I found the surround area to be very safe and the bus stop is a very short walk. Oistens is a very short bus right from there. Some of the excursions we did were on the west coast and if you take bus its about a 45min ride for roughly $2 per person US. Hotel very friendly and beautiful spot on the ocean. This is all pre Covid so not sure how things are at the present time with busses etc.

I think that would vary based on where your flying from, time of year, and what type of room you have. We booked out of Boston with Jet Blue Vacations and with 6 people 2 rooms 1 child was about 13k and change in November. Great place for the whole family, my kids want to go back already.
