2015 Jetta 1 8T done for
Today I have a 2015 Jetta in that had cutoff going down the road on the owner. So I did the normal check of things all checked out good. So I moved on to checking the timing chains and this what I found. Crazy!!

This the 8th annual Dubs at the Vineyard in Culpeper, VA. This year was a really good turn out and got to see a lot of nice rides and talked to so cool people.
12v VR6 Rebuild pt1

Welcome back everyone we are working on rebuild a 12v VR6 in this video. I have hot tanked the block, re-honed the cylinder walls and painted the block. I also cleaned up the pistons and rods. In the next video I will be installing the coolant and oil plugs; and also checking the clearances for the crank and rod bearings.

R32 Update

Welcome back everyone. In this short video I give an update on the R32 build and how it is running. So far I have put 300 miles on the rebuild and she is doing just fine. Now I have to get the body straighten out and new paint on her.

Today in this video we are upgrading the stock turbo to a GTB1752v from Xman and we are also deleting the EGR cooler. Also we are adding a Malone stage 2 tune to tie everything together.
VR6 Build pt3

In this video we are checking the ring gaps, installing the piston rings and installing them into the block. Remember when installing piston rings that the writing faces the top of the piston. Always check the rotating assembly to see if it is spinning freely and there is no binding.

Hello everyone and welcome back. I have been busy finishing up some of the other projects that I have around. I got the Tiguan back up and running. We were very happy to find out it did not have any bent valves. I believe I have everything now to start the engine rebuild for the R32. As for the Jetta the headlight turned out great and look Really good on the Jetta now. They really put some ligh...
You know some of us do dumb stuff sometimes too... "Cough" "cough" lol😂
LOL yes some of us do but we fix the issue and make it better.
How did you remove the downpipe from the turbo? I have everything unbolted, it wont budge, what's the technique? Thanks
Ok so I had the same issue when I took it off the first time also. I had to undo the down pipe from the rest of the exhaust and shake it a little and take a dead blow hammer to knock it out.
