Look at it at another perspective. What happens if you dont save at all? I would rather have a little money when Im old rather than nothing at all BUT what you say makes sense. The money game is changing every day and becoming more difficult every day.

With all the homeless people in canada and the US getting money crime corruption drugs and homelessness are getting worse. It is insensitive for workers' fine, but free money makes people dependent and lazy and don't care . It is like a lot of poor renters they trash their apartments and move to the next one .now with so few available a lot of theas houses are in nead of so much repair owners are slow to fix them and city's are destroying them . I can allwase tell a rental with welfare people the windows are open in winter and the furnace is running flat out .more than 150 houses burned down because tenants are running furnaces and electric heaters with the windows open to hot upstairs and to cold downstairs .what they superpowers rich and corporations want is workers slaves u rent everything and own nothing. Wef is pure evil. Soon, u won't be able to afford food gas to go to work right now. No one has extra cash after getting paid. the government is destroying the middle class and your savings. Companies are on life support, and big corporations are laying off and closing stores. The ones that stay open they are making Wal-Mart so machines can load the shelves and cashier are already done. Most likely, stores u won't be aloud near drowns will deliver everything. Wate till u and your naybors order fridge, and they crash over your house .

Its worty to explore options in order to try to move people out of poverty and more til middle class. Yes some will get lazy but some will become more productive. Thinking more long term on their business rather than making a quick buck to pay a bill.
