From what I see, Americans come here with documentation, they have respect for us & I have not heard of any problems. They always speak positively about our country. No arrogance and no disrespect. Welcome to South Africa.
Thanks for watching.
My family is seriously interested in relocating to Johannesburg. We need assistance with the visa application, please. If you can direct us in the right direction. The Embassy in Washington DC is horrible and rejects a large percentage of the applicants.
Thanks for watching. You may want to talk to a South African immigration attorney to assist you with your visa application.
@@tangelabrown93 There is a very popular SA content creator (living in SA but U.S. citizens) on TH-cam that has a part of their business that does that. I won’t mention them here out of respect for this creator. Search them and check them out. Sucks to learn the DC embassy has a high reject rate. 🥴🤦🏾♂️ hopefully it’s because people are generally not covering all the bases and not them just being mean-spirited.
One Would Ask Why You Black Americans are Getting Out Of 1...The Richest Country and Continent On Earth 2...The Most Successful Country and Continent On Earth 3...The Greatest Country and Continent On Earth 4...The Country and Continent With the Most Powerful Army and Uniformed Agencies 5...The Most Developed Country and Continent On Earth 6...The Most Famous And Popular Country and Continent On Earth ... But Come To the Poorest Countries and Continent On Earth But Come to Countries and Continent With No Supermarket And No Malls But Come To Africa and African Countries and Continent That is Not Developed...Not Grown Cuz Many Black People From Countries Outside Africa Are Always Acting Like They are Saving or they Are Saviours of the World.... But Your own Country and Continent Is Far Better...Far Richer...Far More Technologically Developed Country And Continent .... So what Is Making Black Americans Run Out Of Comfort to Poverty and Discomfort...No Power Supply No WAter Suppply .... May Be Many Non Africans Will Like to Explain
God bless AA❤
I want to move to Africa so bad!! Im happy for those who made it over there and are living happily!
Great video Sherronda!
As a local, i welcome everyone visiting the country. My only problem is when foreigners are buying land , properties etc becoz all of a suddenly now these things are being sold in dollars . Locals do not earn dollars and as demand by foreigners increase , this will only increase prices because now sellers will be pricing in dollars and automatically cut off the middle class of locals that will now no longer be able to afford nice things as they will be forced to now translate dollar price into rands coz clearly as a seller you would rather price in dollar and make more money. Americans did this in Hawaii (i think thats name of the island - where locals have been pushed aside and can bearly afford to live in their own country). If were up to me , foreigners would visit but go back home at the end of the day or if they must stay _ do not create an opportunity for a market to price things of value in any other currency other than a local currency becuase the middle class that is majority black are the ones that will suffer and its bearly 30 yrs this class jas finally been able to enjoy and afford these things. Sometimes i wish South Africa was just a barren place so that everyone would leave us alone 😢😢😢
You know, I do think about this aspect of it because it's happening to me now where I live. I'm in Florida and we've had a huge influx of people from more expensive states and the cost of things just skyrocketed in this state. So I get it. I don't know what the solution is though. Honestly, I am looking at South Africa as well, but I do wonder how my moving will impact locals and the cost of things. However, when I flew over there in March, the plane was filled with people of European descent and it looks as if they have been traveling there for years. Have they negatively impacted the cost of items as well?

I'm going to Joberg Feb 2025. Can't wait to escape the sunken place/Texas/America.
You are going to love it there! It is sooo beautiful! AAs have a lot in common with South Africans and that's probably why they love you guys so much.
@@kuyahkudey3217 Thank you!😀
Be careful of the crime
It's spelled Joburg.
Thank you for being so truthful about our mother country, which is the sunny South Africa. We love y"all African Americans.
We love you too! Thank you.
I'm a Black South African from a Xhosa nation living in the Eastern Cape province. Black Americans are always welcome here!
Thanks. I am looking forward to visiting the Eastern Cape.
Interesting... Eye Opening Puzzling Hilarious But Your own African Brothers and sisters Are Not Welcome But Westerners Are Your Friends and Allies and Alliance South Africans As Usual
Amen to that 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
I wonder if that's what they would say to you in the Stated
@@ntokozohlatshwayo4805America was never our home but Africa is their home. Every African Country should be visa free and open to the diaspora, the healing will bless Africa and uplift the black person worldwide
African Americans are welcome in South Africa 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
But Your Own African Brothers and sisters Who Have Your Backs ..Who are Your Allies and Alliances ..Are Not Welcome? But You Black South Africans Keep Calling For Non Africans Who are Living 999 Trillion Kilometers and Miles Away From You ...Including Hours .... While You Put Up Wars ...Chaos Towards People Who are Exactly Like You....Its So Pathetic
Yes - They are unproblematic.
Please😅, don't let the secret out. Can't wait to get back to Johannesburg. I am in depressing New York.
I am starting to see more and more of these videos show up in my TH-cam feed, and I kinda feel the same way. 😏 I feel like it’s inevitable that the more of us Black Americans who begin to flock and flex that US dollar, properties are going to shoot up in price over there. It will definitely place things more out of reach for the average South African there. That’s why I am glad we were able to purchase our place outright there last year, paid in full. As long as the SA people remain friendly to us (and we don’t take over there our U.S. “baggage” and what all is rolled into that, yes…we need to be there alongside our brothers and sisters - collaborating and building with. That’s our angle at least. 🗣️Joburg SOUTH representin’! 🇿🇦💪🏾🇿🇦
@@MelAndMe It is pretty simple - Do not offer higher than local property prices - Ask a local South African to assist you, so that you do not get taken advantage of....and we will all be happy.
@ Offering higher is not a concern for me. We purchased directly through the developer, so wasn’t an issue. I also hold a real estate license in the U.S., so pretty well versed in real estate as a whole, especially considering much of the industry in SA mirrors that of the U.S. My broader point is this…The true value of real estate is determined by what one is willing to pay for it. It stands to reason that if the overall market detects an influx of buyers who can afford to pay higher prices for a certain level of accommodation, then developers on-the-whole could begin pricing with that fact in mind.
🇿🇦✌️❤👌💥 December is alive inSA
My husband and I enjoyed our time in SA . SA is in our hearts.
Great demonstration my sister. Thank you for sharing. You should have included Sandton, the richest square mile in all of Africa. I love it, SA is a bomb.
Thanks. There is so much happening in SA. Stay tuned for videos which will include Sandton.
We love you in South Africa and keep doing more videos

Thanks. Much love to SA. Our family will return home to SA.
Living good but not for working class south africans
Only the inner circle live like that. Those living of graft , corruption and being rewarded way beyond what they deserve in corporations. Most people are desperately poor without proper services, care and nutrition.
Black American must come and invest and open businesses live nice here in our country
@@johnmadonsela3816 Invest in a country with no infrastructure? The mayor of Jhb does not even have water in his fancy office.
South Africa is the best
My Sister I am a Joburgers and Sowetan. Please let our Brothers and Sisters know that in Johannesburg there is a place called Soweto the unofficial capital location of South Africa. Please ma'am let our people know that we are here and we love them. There's no way you can say you where in Johannesburg and not visit Soweto where it's all happening. Please include us or better come and visit and see for yourself please please
Thank you So Much for your comment. I was not fortunate enough to visit Soweto this trip, however, I am very much planning a return to SA and Soweto is already on my list of places to visit. I am looking forward to experiencing the beautiful people, culture, music, and all that Soweto offers.❤
Very true❤......except the 'unofficial capital ' 😂😂LOL! (Just teasing). I'm from the Vaal, but Soweto is the Big Brother to us all😊
Abahambe sisi.
@@emptynesterchronicles2190 Quick facts about Soweto: It has a street named Vilakazi Street, the only street in the world two noble laureates used to call their home, i.e. Mandela and Tutu. Before her passing, Afeni Shakur carried her son's ashes to be buried in Soweto in 2006. According to her, it was a "birthplace of his ancestors."
I love black Americans. They do no trafficking, powder, human sacrifices. They suffered a lot. Send into slavery by Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon etc. Ghana apologised and has a solemn ceremony. But the rest, did not apologise for the inhuman treatment of black Americans. I am glad my ancestors in South Africa did not sell anyone to slavery. Instead we fought against it for more than 400 years in SA. You are welcome black Americans.
Thanks, yes it’s an amazing place!
Joburg is a vibe! Thanks for sharing.
