Thanks for the video, I ordered the whole kit that you have, same items. I need to replace my PS pump as it's becoming manual steering. The Ford shop manual says that the old way without a vacuum won't get all the air out. So I'll need vacuum. Gonna replace all the hoses too on my 2009 Ranger.

can you just tap the actual switch down so its just engaged at all times, and then slide the whole sensor back under the seat?

For future note if it doesn’t work and you still have to sit on it, leave the seat unplugged instead after you do this and it should fire right up

Outstanding information. I’m testing the front impact sensor on my 2008 F150 that Ford graciously decided to discontinue with no alternative options. My clock spring is good and nothing else seems to be malfunctioning. So the impact sensor is the next most likely suspect. But I was unsure what to look for when testing it with my multimeter. Thank you for this information!
